  1. I agree with Terry. While it's true that you don't want to hide who you are for others, being a lesbian isn't really an important aspect as far as who you are. If it were to ever come up in the workplace, then sure, be open. But it's not like it's something you need to make a point of bringing up.
  2. If I had to use that toilet I'd either fall backwards or poo in my shorts.
  3. ^I'll have more information after a while. If I can get everything done according to how I'd like it won't actually be published until early summerish.
  4. For anyone that remembers this from about a year and a half ago, an update: I wrote my heart out over the course of a year, and after some ordering around and chopping stuff out I have what I call a book. It's about 100 pages long. I've had some friends/teachers reading it over the past while, and after having gotten their copies back I'm using their criticisms to edit my work. I found a self publisher I think I'm going to go with, I just need to do a little more finishing. I'm just getting antsy. -Nick
  5. Ha, that was pretty cool! I like how the people died. And I also recognized the farting dog whistle from Bonbon Land.
  6. I remember the "2 scoops of ice cream with a breadstick in the middle". We were probably the most non-fancy group at the formal dinners on our cruise. In those pictures of the zipline from the top I wasn't sure where it came down, it looked like it just ended somewhere in the water. This has me pumped for our ziplining tour in Costa Rica with school in February.
  7. No what I was referring to was on Grizzly, where it was like the one credit no one got until the end, the op had never even seen the passes we got before, and as we came up the exit some man yells that he's been waiting for an hour and a half and that we have no right to do what we're doing. That was when the first four of us were there, then about another 20 came.
  8. "We have no fast pass system." "Have some walk-on Wednesday tickets!" And then we all use them on the same ride at the same time and the GP gets mad and the ride-op doesn't know what to do. Ahhh fun.
  9. These sound awesome, and look super open. I'm excited to see what becomes of these. And, LAUNCH SYSTEM CAPABLE?? I'm interested in seeing what happens with that. Coolio.
  10. ^^^Aside from what those above me have said, besides Archuletta's smile "making you melt", do any guys, erm.."arouse" you? That's pretty much a good piece of proof right there. I think any identity problems are more internal, coming from an argument between what you are and what you hold yourself to be. -Nick
  11. Haha, yeah it did. I was thinking you were just saying it like gemini isn't good enough to be a top ten coaster.
  12. That was pretty interesting. One thing I noticed though, although not necessarily pertaining to this video, was his classification of Gemini as a wood coaster. I've always thought the same, but I was just thinking, we refer to steel support/wood track coasters as wooden, so why isn't gemini considered steel?
  13. ^^Like Dave said, it's pretty much a day thing. At least into early evening.
  14. When I went some years ago it was 200 bucks, but I think the 260 is still worth it. (Keep in mind, the stuff I'll talk about was from around the year 2000) They only let 1000 guests into the park each day so it's never too crowded. They'd take your picture and print out ID cards and we watched some videos on swimming with the dolphins and stuff. We were given a time of about 30-40 minutes when we'd be in the water with a dolphin, and the rest of the day you could roam around. There's a big freshwater pool, nicely landscaped, fun to just play around in. There's no fish or anything (but after being in so much salty water the freshwater is welcome) but there's a big waterfall/cave that you can go in, and if you keep going through the cave there's a river. You can float down the river (probably 6 feet deep), it has a strong current, but with your wetsuit you just float down it. You could get out at one point and go up into a bird aviary and feed them and stuff like that. Pretty much everything is provided. Wet suit, shirt or vest style. snorkel (which you get to keep after), goggles, fins, pretty much anything you need. There's some nice gift shops and things. There's a big pool, which from my memory seems to be more like 20-30 feet deep, all coral (fake) and filled with a ton of fish and insanely huge stingrays, in which you're free to snorkel in. There's also a separate stingray pool with smaller ones, and that's more of a wading pool. When it's time to swim with dolphins, you go in a group and stand out a ways in the dolphin pool with an intstructor. Each person will have some time to hold the dolphin's head/kiss it/whatever. Then you'll go one by one and have it pull you around on it's dorsal fin (Scared the crap out of me, their tail is so strong I thought it was going to take my feet off). Photographers are nearby offshore to capture everything, and you can buy some pretty good pictures/dvd of the experience. They also keep that stuff on record for quite some time if you decide to buy after your trip. There's a full buffet for lunch with a ton of food, all provided. Then after you can go shower off, they have really nice shower stalls each with it's own changing area, soap/shampoo/conditioner all in a dispensor on the wall. Then there's warm towels too. Any more specific questions just ask. -Nick
  15. Te Voy A Mostrar-Julieta Venegas
  16. Earlier in school while on Firefox I saw all three. Now, in Internet Explorer 6, I don't see any, they just say "other" and "dfdsfdsf". -Nick
  17. On the East Coast Trip, it started raining during our group lunch at SFNE. When it came time to leave the pavillion, some of us had ponchos, some didn't. So me and Christiana (Herblackwings) mooched a trash bag off a worker and punched two wholes in it. Then we raced through the park connected by a bag, nearly toppling signs in the process.
  18. Sounds like a case of "The Happening". "Calculus. Calculus." Haha, that movie was hilarious.
  19. It sure was! I'm shocked anyone picked up on that! --Robb I'm so glad you made that reference! I remember that game, and I've never been able to find out what it was... Looks like a cool park, thanks for the update.
  20. I like Phoenix's tunnel during night ERT when everyone has glowsticks.
  21. Because of the East Coast trip I actually have a milestone amount now! My 100 was Sea Serpent, the boomerang at Morey's Piers, and I just ended today at 125 on Blackbeard's Treasure Train at Gadv.
  22. I sure do. Do you ever succeed at arcade claw games?
  23. I'm going to SFGadv tomorrow with fun people. And then beginning the East Coast Trip!
  24. This is awesome seeing this starting. Three days from now I'll be on the road to Philly for the COOL part of the trip!
