  1. New testing video of Spin Cycle: This really looks awesome!
  2. This project deserves more love: Pictures thanks to phantastische-fans.com! Hopefully Chiapas is complete near the end of June so I can try it.
  3. Back in 2010 I was doing a, sort of, mini marathon ERT on Anubis (Plopsaland De Panne) with a friend of mine. Yeah, it was raining whole the time and I made about 40 laps ore so. I just had to stop because I wasn't feeling my face anymore... And It was freezing cold. Also, not so long ago in april i've ridden Stealth in Thorpe park for the very first time. It was just starting to snow heavily right before we where launched. And I was sitting front seat. I thought the ride was awesome, but then again I was crying like a little baby because of all the snow that jammed into my face at that speed . When it's raining, I prefer to ride Wooden Rollercoasters. Man, they are wild at that moment, so lovely *airtime all the way!*
  4. Pretty understandable. Belgium for instance isn't a 'themepark-walhalla' for foreign people, but I hope that's gonna change. Walibi Belgium for instance is highly renovating the last 3 years and hopefully they build a new ride in 2015. Plopsa is the fastest growing park in the country and they said they will build a new coaster in the upcoming years (and their new hotel/waterpark *wink wink*). Hopefully, by the time of 2020, Belgium will be much more interesting for a 're-visit' for TPR. I hope I can meet up with you guys then . Sorry for going offtopic -> Back to Plopsa: next Saturday there is a site visit at the new Wicky zone and the new Theater. I will post pictures if they are online (I'm not going, but I know some people who will). The Disc'o Coaster had its first test this weekend by the way. It will go much faster and spin much more in future tests:
  5. Thanks for your report! Can't wait to find out what other parks you have visited . One question, if you don't mind? Why couldn't you rent a car?
  6. This game looks beautiful, can't wait to make creations on it! And congratulations to the team of Theme Park Studio the reach their goal!
  7. Because I'm pretty new on this forum (although I created this account in 2010, i forgot I made it ), some pics: Back at the end of 2011, ending the season in my homepark Walibi Belgium by riding my favorit droptower 'Dalton Terror' with some friends: Also from 2011, my first visit to Holiday Park end celebrating Expedition Geforce his 10th birthday with an ERT (thanks fkfev.de/): And a picture of now, My girlfriend and I :
  8. Thanks for the link! Seems like an interesting project
  9. A small update with an overview of the new themed land: Thanks to Plopsa Facebook! First Disk'o Coaster in Belgium (if you don't count one on the Belgian fairs if it still traveled around). I wonder how the locals will react to this ride. It all looks pretty now and it isn't even finished yet . keep investing Plopsa! I wonder when TPR is going to visit the park (probably after 2015-2016 because of the new rumors of a new roller coaster)
  10. Thanks ! Again a new update. Once again thank you WalibiBand.be for the pictures! Technical drawing of the trains *mmm lapbars...* You can see here how the queue will go (beginning indoor = orange line) and the exit (blue line) Accelerations curve of the LIM launch You can see where all the last 6 remaining Schwarzkopf Shuttle loops are in the world
  11. Beautiful theming, boring ride (Kumbak unfortunately). Thanks for all the great pics Hanno! They are all amazing to watch every single time!
  12. Some new pics thanks to pretparkkriebels.be: The little monsters that pushed the wrong button and 'accidentally' launched the train: The monster (3D projection) that lives inside the loop: The ride-logo: All the theming is made by Joravision (The Netherlands).
  13. This accident made this coaster 'The legend coaster of Belgium'. Since this accident happened, the popularity increased enormously (strangely enough). Everybody wanted to ride 'Sirocco' for it's 'dangerous' feeling. If you ask a random Belgian if they know the name Sirocco, they all say yes (especially the old generation). But not only in Belgium, also in Germany, France, The Netherlands, ... By the way, Psyké Underground will have his own anthem (dance-track). It will be played in the coaster, but also by the local radio-stations (and maybe even in other countries). You can hear a short part of it at the end of each video above.
  14. Today Walibi Belgium released some cool new stuff! The new name of 'Turbine' is Psyké Underground. The coaster is now fully enclosed and will feature some theming elements inside like 'glow-in-the-dark' bats and a 3D projection of a monster inside the loop! The launch-system changed to a LIM-launch by Gerstlauer. The capacity will be 700 p/h (25 launches each hour) and it shall open the second week of June. This might be the best looking Schwarzkopf Shuttle loop in the world! What do you think? Two videos from Walibi Belgium Youtube Channel: The history of Psyké Underground: Some theming elements are shown in this video. Note: it's all in French: => Do I need to upload them in coastertube to get them in ? Because it doesn't work. And two pictures: The new train made by Gerstlauer: The whole building in one picture (they are still working on the tubes): As a local, I'm thrilled to see that this coaster is running again. My last ride was in 2008 and I really missed this thing. I will go just after opening, I'll then upload some more pictures ! Great thanks to Walibiband.be (they have more pictures but I can't upload them) and Themepark.nl!
