  1. If you go Saturday, then 100% you will need one. Thur/Fri shouldn't be too bad.
  2. It's listed a few posts back, but, I'm feeling nice NTAG is only offered on Platinum Flash Pass and is good for one time only. However, if it's a "slow" day you can return to the flash pass office and request a second time to ride. Depending on what day you come in May, it's possible you won't need a FP, in fact this past Friday they had very few FP personnel at the rides as Titan, for example, was an all day walk.
  3. I saw many of the facebook posts, many were supportive but others, well, I wouldn't want my child seeing me behave that way Like I said on the CBLV FB, I'd rather see a park that is 100% ready to rock and not 70%, rushing is always a disaster in the waiting. Some of what people were posting was just mind blowing, in the youtube realm. Many needed jobs for the valley will soon become reality courtesy of Shane, it's not like it's gonna sit there, uncompleted like oh, I don't know, Echelon, FountainBleau, the New Frontier site, part of City Center, just to name a few. It's delayed, by what 8 months? Get over it.
  4. ^Scott, you need a job in the parks PR Dept
  5. Pandohawkspin and the Intamin bobsled thingy.
  6. Talked with Flash Pass today and I can see where I got my wires crossed. It's technically still one ride only on Giant (stupid, I mean how many people really buy the platinum flash pass on a busy day 50?, I guess in the summer more, but this season I think I have seen two people) Anyway, if it's a 'slow' day they will let you reserve additional rides if you stop back by the FP office.
  7. I wouldn't say a good year, more like a good first few weeks before everything starts to go downhill. I'm betting on opening day by like 3pm is when everything fails. You're being too generous
  8. Hmmm, so 400 feet to the tip of the flags, I feel cheated out of 40 feet!
  9. ^I *think* they are if I remember correctly. FC got a lot of stuff from Astro as at the time of it's closing FC was the corp headquarters.
  10. ^It's *suppose* to be unlimited now on Plat. I'll dbl check Friday and post back.
  11. NTAG is only available on the Plat Flash Pass and I understand it now works like a normal ride would, the line for it has been running 30-45 minutes on average. During the summer its a tad longer. Batman has been running 90+ minute wait times on Saturdays. While you might be able to get everything in, it might also just be a single ride. I'd advise getting a gold pass, even if crowds are 50% you will spend most of your time in line for Titan/Batman/Freeze(which if it's hot as hell, the A/C is working very well in the queue this year )
  12. ^In that case, an iron horse track might fit nicely.
  13. Wow, that website looks like it was put together by a 13 year old.
  14. thanks for the heads up One thing that I think is important to the above discussion is that RMC did not install the mechanical's for this ride. That was all done by the park, the ride control system was also contracted out by the park and was not done by RMC. Placement of and type of mechanical's used on the ride i.e. brakes, drive motors, etc. were installed based on RMC spec.
  15. ^yes. Titan's photo system is currently down for refurbishment. I still wouldn't look for Sky Screamer to open before mid June as even once the tower is erected, there is a ton of work, training, cycling, and inspection that has to be done to it.
  16. ^ah, makes sense now, 5/3 is a school trip day so alot of it depends on how long they stay.
  17. ^Huh? I heard through a source as I um, *didn't* go to the park this weekend that we should see the crane together and pieces flying by mid week.
