  1. I've heard that expect crowds on Sat, Sun, Mon total around 30 to 45K. (but thats not official...)
  2. After some major thought, Mantis seriously is my favorite now.
  3. ^ Is that annoying ride op from last week still at Blue Streak? AHA, I keed, I keed. It's good the hear that the Point was epic. Last week was great other than the disrespectin' rain. Yes, Mantis is awesome. BTW, is TTD still only loading the front six?
  4. Do not ride Yellow Train. Red Train is ok, but Yellow Train left me with black and blue bruises...
  5. Agreed. My negativity help to spread that. BuschFreak5, The Ricochet video was a really good off ride video. I would like to rescind my "idiot" comment and replace it with "slightly ignorant." I do not doubt your dedication to Kings Dominion and wish for it to prosper.
  6. ^ Big Bad Wolf was the best. And i t was the best and gave its best rides until its last ride. the remainder of my list goes as follows... 2.Flight Deck 3.Iron Dragon Yeah I'm sad to say I haven't ridden many of these...
  7. ^ IDK, which past In The Loop episodes it was (It think either March or April)... Here's the link to the In The Loop main page with all of the episode links EDIT: I just realized that Desert Race has almost identical trains to I305...
  8. ^ Reece is... apart of the general public. He is an idiot. BTW, he got his way on In The Loop a few weeks ago and insulted Clint. Clint's reaction is somewhat hilarious... Robb, you would tear him apart. The best part is you cannot reason with him!
  9. ^ I concur that best launched coaster goes to Maverick, though I am partial to Volcano... Best launch goes to the (f)one and only, Hypersonic XLC. Most intense launch...
  10. ^ Thanks. I would prefer the current restraint as I would not like to be held in with both the shoulders and the waist compared to the current restraint's only holding me in by the waist... hope that made sense.
  11. I have a question that could be considered to be legitimate... For those who have ridden with the "fabric" restraints, do they constrict your shoulders compared to the "soft-plastic" restraint the I305 currently has?
  12. Yeah, in the Pagoda gift shop they had some merch. Like he said, some T-Shirts...
  13. I'm like Robb right now and sitting back, watching the coaster enthusiast community tear itself apart over insignificant matters and finding hilarity in it... I'm a KDfanboy... But I'm not worked up over this...
  14. ^ I wouldn't know about that. On that Tuesday me and my friend got 3 rides on MF and 3 rides on Maverick and 1 on Magnum in a 1 1/2 hour period before close. It was epic how rain and HS Children can get rid of crowds!
  15. ^ Yeah, Lake Erie make CP weather quite unpredictable. On May 18th, though the rain had passed through the area through the night, we were still getting lake-effect drizzle until 2pm. Anybody heading to the Point this weekend?
  16. Out of the 9 times I have ridden this Virginia Goliath, I have grey'd out 7 times. Imma big guy, 6' 5", 215 lbs. I was kinda surprised that it was happening in the first place. If these trims make it a more enjoyable ride I'm all for them. I won't ride until sometime next week so I won't be able to know exactly what I dealing with. And Jeff, your account stating that the second hill is less forceful that MF saddens me. I do love MF but find the second hill quite boring. Clint Novak, a partially reliable source, has been stating that we may be seeing the soft straps on I305 by next Friday... By the time I ride after Memorial Day, it may be a new different beast.
  17. I totally agreed with what you said. If more time for testing had happened in the offseason, this "trial and error" period were going through would had already happened. Do I think they will ever take the trims off the first drop? No, not all of them. I think over the next few weeks we'll see the maintenance crews moving trims from the first drop back to the third hill and back to find the right combination for rider safety and comfort.
  18. I went to CP for the first half of the week last week and did not ride Dragster until the last day on WED. The coaster was down in the rain (of course) and took forever to get back up the next day.
  19. After watching the Offride... I've got a sick feeling in my stomach about that 150' "airtime" hill. Looks like MF second hill now.
  20. According to other trip reports, it's giving some of the worst rides it's given in years. Take that for what it's worth. I concur. I got two rides in on it. Monday and Tuesday. Red Train ran "OK". Yellow train is reason for the black and blue bruising on my legs. I heard from many people that it was the roughest in years... I pray for TG treatment.
  21. Did anybody here this a CP, "This ride goes upside down not once, not twice but a total of ZERO times!" I heard that a few times a day in the three days I was there. It was rediculous. Otherwise, the park was great. 5-2 minute lines on Maverick with 2 hours to close on Tuesday was mage epic!
  22. ^ AGREED. I'll be swinging by KD late on Sunday then be on my way to CP! I'll give a report on the "trim" on the first drop first thing next Thursday.
