The new restraint "hugs" the rider into the seat more than the original. The restraint cannot ruin airtime. The "twisties" are even better than before! No head bang, No neck chop! They don't exist on this ride (to my knowledge). The ride is better than it ever has been. If the line hadn't been so long, I would had ridden again... You could consider it now a Jeff Johnson credit! If you've ridden it before and liked it, get your a** back to KD and reassess your judgement!

Soft restraint gives a more comfortable ride without a doubt. (this means I rode it today.)

^ Hurler has not aged well. It has steadily digressed into a ride that is not even worth the credit... (though not as rough as Mean Streak or SoB) If GCI were to do a retracking at KD, I would hope that Hurler would be under the knife. Rebel Yell has improved significantly improved under the steady work of KD's maintenance staff. I would like to see a GCI coaster at KD but with our current attractions price tag claiming KD's coffers.

Also, Hypersonic's track has been scrapped.

Got more rides on 305 today... Felt faster... but that's just me. I couldn't help but laugh at the water sprayers. BTW, Grizzly was AMAZING today! front rode on the yellow train = an incredible ride.

^^ If you ride on the right side of the train (like I did once a wee ago) you get sprayed in the first turn. and I know... "So it was meant to be a Aquatrax!"

^ Was there today. I was sad to see my #4 coaster sitting idle... BTW, can you comment or speculate over the location or designer of the proposed BGW drop tower (a.k.a. Der Fallinfast!)

How many times did you ride?

With the water canons they have added a little "drive a mini boat" attraction in a corner of the Pompeii reservoir. Its like $.5 to drive a toy boat... Also, I found a post. It's a 6 ft tall 4x4 post in the mulch work next to the Kataplut (Scrambler). There where no survey markers or paint lines nearby. Just a post stuck in the ground not apart of the scenery. It felt like to me it may had been used as a vantage point marker. The gully behind it isn't too deep and if filled in and leveled it could provide a decent way to "connect" the two parts of Oktoberfest. Not to mention it would b e a good place for a Drop Tower.

Update on I305 Improvements... The ride now is using water sprayers to "cool" the track down. At least that's what I think their doing. I got sprinkled when I rode a few times today.

This is so important. I've told countless people who have heard about the trims and were worried that the ride would stink that the ride is more re-rideable and reliable. I'm relieved that the ride isn't another Hypersonic!

^^I've heard that 305 after dusk is not a fun ride...

^ I think that both Dive Loops and Zero G Rolls could be done.
