Interesting. Well, that is within the park's boundaries...what could possibly go there? Maybe it was just for some landscaping or swamp maintenance.

We (the employees) were told it was a new model (damn you KECO!) but obviously it was a refurb of the original ride. Glad you posted that so the truth would be told, thanks. Well at least when I worked it it was mostly new.

In all fairness not at that time but when there was a train there it would take longer than usual to open/close the airgates, check lapbars, etc., because they were all busy looking at something in the panel area. There were also 2 other employees you can't see, one at the exit and the airgate guy. 7 employees at this ride? 3 to run it but the other 4 I guess had nothing better to do. It just kind of looks bad when there are a bunch of employees at one location not really doing anything but this is a themepark, so I am not surprised. The couple of days I was there the worst/slowest dispatching rides were this one, Riddler's, and Batman, maybe Tatsu too because of various reasons but should have been quicker overall. I think the best one I saw was Viper, no stacking and the trains were flying out of there constantly...it was awesome! I can't even count Deja Vu as anything because I got right on it after it had been down, so I waited like 5 minutes.

Berserker was a new ride installed in 1989, I believe there was a different version of it installed when the park opened but was later removed. Then, in 1989, a new model of this ride was installed (Berserker), I worked there that season, which was the first season for Berserker. I watched them build it and was one of the first ride ops to run it.

Can you classify Berserker as a classic ride since it was added in 1989? Maybe classic but not original.

Goliath slow in dispatching? Hmmm......

Bummer, my visit is over but it was a lot of fun. Didn't get on Terminator, damn it, what are they doing to it anyway?

Didn't they already do that? This was something else. I hope its open tomorrow.

I would be surprised if they were replacing the lift motor already, but stuff happens. Where is the retro Revolution train, didn't see it anywhere near the ride or transfer track, is it in rehab? Only had the two blue ones there, and one was covered with some advertising, you know, I don't even remember what was being advertised.

I wonder what is going on with it.

Well today from Sky Tower I saw maintenance people on Terminator at the top of the lift and a crane at the bottom, of course it was closed again. I hope it opens soon, I only have a couple of days left to try to ride it.

I was at the park yesterday and Terminator was closed. Anybody know why?

Darn I wanted to point out to that guy that eventhough he is annoyed by this stuff obviously what the parks are doing is working because here he is taking about it.

Of course they are..... ..."hey look they think we are going to run Superman backwards, that will never happen, morons!" And they laugh and they laugh. Meanwhile, one of them just finishes an online chat with an engineer at Intamin, you know, the one that speaks pretty good english, where they were finalizing the details of running it backwards. He catches a glimps of some of the posts in this thread and chuckles, he thinks to himself..."if they only knew".

....meh don't really care, I hope she had to wait in line for stuff just like everybody else there. If not then she is no different than other snobs that go to parks and cut lines because they think they are 'special'.
