I never got the chance to meet Jay. All my visits while he was there I noticed many positive improvements that he made and from what people on here have said about him he sounds like a really great guy. Jay, eventhough I don't know you I appreciate all that you have done for Magic Mountain and I wish you nothing but the best in whatever it is you are going into. Whatever you end up doing I hope they realize how lucky they will be to have you and embrace any of your great ideas. Thank you Jay and good luck!

I think you are right and I would hope that when Demon's time comes something truly awesome replaces it. I hope it never goes but when it does I hope they can do the right thing.

^^ Yeah I'm surprised you don't hear them complaining that the sound of water rushing down the drop on WWF is too loud! I would love to see a Superman: the escape built right next to them just because of how loud the launch it, that would be awesome! Getting rid of the storage facility called "The Pictorium" would free up some nice space, oh wait, bitchy neighbors again. If they complain about stuff going on on the other side of the park what's going to happen on game day...or is that far enough away for them? And will they complain when the stadium has fireworks too?

Sound would not be an issue if, as you say, they filled it with sand. When was the last time you heard any noise from Medusa other than the wind as it whooshes by, I can't believe how quiet it is. That's the answer, a B&M or possibly Intamin filled with sand built right next to the bitchy neighbors, then they can't say s#$t about it!

I am going to CP next year and this Windseeker thing looks awesome but I am NOT HAPPY that we got the shaft, again! All I can say about this is WTF?! Although nothing has been announced maybe that means something will be, trying to be positive, has CFs cap ex spending for 2011 been all accounted for yet? Maybe there's still some money left for us for something.

Eventhough I don't like it, the stadium could actually be good for the park in bringing in more visitors. Come on CF, show us some love!

I've put mine in my front pocket, button close, of my cargo shorts and have been doing it this way for many years at various parks several times, including MM and on X2, and never once had I had a problem, never.

The only accident I've ever heard of on a skycoaster was caused by idiotic drunk employees.

So what are the rumors for the 2011 attraction? Are there any? (coaster...coaster...coaster). I hope to god the park gets a good thrill ride this time, please really, or at the very least something to draw in huge crowds, they really need something big to start bringing the crowds back...obviously a roller coaster or three is way overdue. I hope its something that really benefits the park. I'm also wondering how much time Demon has left. Since its been there for thirtysomething years in one form or another I wonder when it will reach the end of its useful life, I hope not anytime soon. There is a good sized plot of land between the Pictorium, WWF, and all around that area just screaming for an awesome coaster to be built on it.

With all the checks done and procedures followed sometimes things happen that are out of your control or that nobody could have seen coming, stuff happens.
