ENOUGH...ABOUT...THE...TRIMS...ALREADY!!! They need to be there and it won't ruin the ride so MOVE ON ALREADY!!! Anyway, regarding SDL and the new trains, I'm curious to know how they are. It would be cool to have someone report on that, that rode the old trains last year and these this year... how are they different, are they better, more comfortable...etc.

They could properly train the ops to do this, have them take some tests and be 'certified to right a car' or whatever, but that will never happen because there is too much liability in this country, companies are paranoid and people are morons. Meanwhile in other countries with Zacspins....

Bottom line is you wont feel it and if its that much of a concern then that's too bad that someone would worry about something like that.... just too bad. If it was a significant change then maybe but seriously.... its only .3 of a mph... THREE TENTHS!

Curious... What happens on the back spike? The LIMs push the train up but do they also launch it down too?

If they 'fixed' GL then they could do that and run the ride the way it should be run. I'll play devil's advocate and say that it's already been stated that Insane and other Zacspins have the same issues issues that GL has. However, it's up to the park to be prepared to handle the ride's issues with the way the cars come back into the station. Exactly. At some other parks they have staff ready at the ride to handle this, to 'fix' GL MM should do the same. Then at least this ride would be worth it to wait for.

If they must out urethane wheels on the trains maybe they could do something like the MS Fire Wheels.
