  1. Look at that! This will be finished and testing in no time.
  2. Love how the ride they show is Ghostrider And what ride was that yellow B&M at the end? Darn, no screaming. But watch, now the Facebook morons will start complaining about this one too- it has too much hugging!
  3. Seriously? Since when do nylon and urethane wheels grind along a coaster track? And the trash.... do these people also account for park goers or the general public just tossing trash wherever they want instead of putting it into trash cans? And if SFMM has been consistently violating this and has paid a MILLION or so in fines why hasn't the park done something about it to stop throwing that money away- that just seems really dumb. Yeah I understand it's complicated and all but when you are sited some 400 times for doing something wrong don't you think you need to change something?
  4. Looks like SDL is getting magnetic braking? The pic shows the original brakes gone and fins installed in their place.... interesting. Maybe this could happen to Revolution (minus the trims)?
  5. Imagine how dirty the restraints would be if the padding was already removed. Dirty- filthy- roller coaster!
  6. Yes, CGA 1989 season. I was a ride op for the following rides... Demon Grizzly Berserker (part of the first crew that ran this ride after it opened) Triple Wheel Barney O Speedway The Carousel ( that used to be where Drop Zone is) The Edge I worked there the season the kid jumped out of a Log on Logger's Run and drowned, that was sad. My main ride was Barney O but I was often put at panel on the other rides, mostly Demon and Grizzly. One day I was at Grizzly working the secondary position (where you watch the train go up the lift) and because of where this is in the station, dispatched trains run out of the station and under you to get to the lift, so basically you are standing there looking down on a passing train. Well one day a train was going by, and this part of the ride is bumpy due to the transfer track so people sort of bounce over it- if you've ridden it you know what I mean, well as these people were bouncing a girl bounced completely out of here top- it was awesome and it happened right in front or under me! One day while working Barney O at the station I saw one car hit another pretty hard causing the ride op that was on the car to pretty much flip over it and land on his back on the ground- that was a bad thing to see happen. But I absolutely loved working there, it was always fun and you are outside all day in the sun and fresh air, the other people I worked with were great, and the employee parties were awesome after the park closed. In fact one time our party was at the Demon, and since it was just employees we rode several times without getting off at night. This guy that was at the panel was not paying attention and sent the trains out too close together, which caused the ride to 'set up', our train stopped on the brake at the top of the hill before the corks. Well when the train was finally released it slowly lumbered through the corks and to the end, it was very interesting going that slow through them.
  7. Superman has three trains? Wouldn't they crash into each other? How would that work exactly?
  8. Yeah I agree, but maybe, somehow they just can't or worse, just don't want to.
  9. To run all three trains on Tatsu requires staffing and all three trains to be operational. Staffing costs money and having all the trains running does too. It could be that there is always one train in rehab because the maintenance staff is stretched out servicing the MANY other coasters and other things in the park so they do what they can with Tatsu in between everything else they have going on, or maybe it's just the way they have the maintenance schedule setup for this ride, can't fault them for that I'm sure they are quite busy. Now if management would allocate more money for maintenance and staffing (you would think so in a park this big with so many coasters) then MAYBE all three trains could run at once again, or maybe not. With this park I guess we should just be happy it has two running- can you imagine the nightmare it would be if Tatsu only ran one train? Oooh, that thought just made me cringe!
  10. I felt a piece of my brain fall oooffff jist ridinggg that...LOL
  11. "Oooh I'm falling out of bed!"...LOL The themeing there looks fantastic, thanks for sharing.
  12. Did you see any track? If not, where could they possibly hide it?
  13. A host revealed that information.....yeah ok.
  14. Have to wonder when we will read about this rider because they flew out of the car. I was thinking the same thing...LOL Instead of "GP" for general public, how about "DGP" for dumb general public?
  15. How is this even acceptable? Honestly, the fact that they sent out multiple guest surveys, all with spelling and grammar errors, really speaks volumes about the attention to detail the company is presenting. If all of us have noticed these errors in the emails and surveys, I refuse to believe some basic proofreading wouldn't also have spotted them. --Robb It would have spotted them, but you have to not be lazy and bother to check stuff like that for it to work but even then there are countless programs that look for errors and correct them for you, but I guess you have to not be a moron to use them. So either they were in a hurry to get this out there or there are some real fools handling this.......hmm....fools! This kind of thing really can reflect bad on a company as a whole, if your employees can't even spell or use grammar correctly or even bother to proofread or check their work, then what kind of image is that projecting to the public or possible investors? Proper use of grammar and correct spelling seems like a small thing but it really is not, it's a very big deal, and can be the difference of a company being perceived and professional or foolish. Totally agree, completely NOT acceptable.
  16. ^And there it goes.... we have vertical construction confirmed!
  17. I don't think track has arrived yet but it's probably on its way.
  18. The scream shield would be on the "easily distracted" workers in the Prudential office, not on happy riders at CGA.
  19. Maybe the stadium had a lot to do with it. Now that the stadium is going to be built, maybe they feel like fighting the coaster is a losing battle-- I don't know.
  20. ??? It makes sense if you look at the post he was referencing with the ^^ He's not sure about if construction started, but pretty sure a crane is on site. However, by itself, "I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure", is amusing. I was just messing with him, all in fun.
