This ride looks awesome! I like the pace that it takes the hills in the pov, and I too enjoy the splash that can be seen from the train.

While a fun ride, I always thought Wildcat looked a bit out of place in the recent years at CP. Its color scheme is sinfully ugly, and it looks more like a carnival ride than a coaster that belongs at a corporate park.

Saw Cabin in the Woods last night, and I can't tell whether I think it's amazing or terrible. Either way, it definitely takes a few big steps away from the classic horror movie mold. Also, does anyone else think Battleship looks like Transformers with boats?

Vekoma: The more of them you ride, the more fearful you are!

With the Stinger sign and now Leviathan's ride sign, It seems that Cedar Fair is really stepping up the level of personality for their new coasters under this new leadership. The ride signage alone adds a personality to the ride that makes it more than just the 16th coaster in the park.

That maneuver looks absolutely wicked from the aerial angle!

^The new audio is definitely less jarring on the ears, but is not new this year. I rode it last summer and it had the songs instead of the sound clips. How did the Goliath progress look?

Just out of curiosity, who do you guys think will win the Calder?

My apologies! I meant sweep, but it seems either way the teams tonight did not allow the sweep. That Pens Flyers series is wild with scoring! I wish L.A had swept though.

I believe this would be Vancouver's emergency backup plan. They will do anything possible not to historically be the first #1 seed to lose to an 8-seed.

^I think so far in the playoffs Asham and Weber have done more damage than Crosby has. Also, your point about the cameras always being on him is spot on. Obviously not everyone is going to like him. For instance, I don't like Patrick Kane. It's ok though. Unfortunately it looks like Sid won't be in the playoffs for much longer. It's such a shame that that series is going in such a bad direction for the Pens. It's great that the Flyers are kicking tail, but it just seemed like the Pens were going to take the playoffs by storm.

^Ya even if I hated a played (Bertuzzi...) I wouldn't wish injury upon them. A player like Crosby, who is so good for the sport's popularity, being the target of everyone is a little bit annoying. I guess I'll never understand the Crosby hate.

Deja Vu

This is great news for Kings Dominion fans! I hope that they redo that whole bottom area because it is a bit claustrophobic and difficult to get to the front of the train if it is crowded.

Yesterday was dead, but Dominator was still running two trains. The strange thing is that I did not see the third train in the storage shed next to the final brake run.

Yesterday while in line for Volcano at KD I overheard a GP saying that, "three weeks ago [she] was here and Volcano was closed because some guy got burned on it."

I think L.A has the best legitimate shot they've had at the cup for a while! I hope they can make it to the final. Also, The Flyers were probably the team in the East that had the best shot at beating the Pens, so it's lucky that they played them in the first round.

^I agree. AtmosFEAR at Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ is by far the most intense I've ridden. Drop Tower did not give me the stomach dropping sensation of a lot of smaller towers. I do, however, love the seating design on Drop Tower, and I wish that more drop towers had the capacity of this ride.

Thanks for sharing those DA pictures! Since I probably won't be paying for it, I am glad that I know what it looks like, as I know i'd be curious otherwise. For all KD regulars: I am heading to the park Sunday. What do you think crowds will be like?
