I also use this system for close coasters. It seems like a sensible idea, but like you said, I have ridden certain coasters to death, and there are some that i'd love to ride again. This is the only problem I see with this system.

Weber also beat last year's record, which is impressive as well. Unfortunately for him, Chara beat it twice in the same night.

^It does look quite similar to Montu, which certainly isn't a bad thing! This is going to be a great addition to Parc Asterix when it finally opens.

It's so close! I can't wait to see the hill crest put up! Will that be one of the next pieces, or will they save it for last?

^Afterburn is good, but apart from it and Intimidator there is nothing really worth making the drive there for. The rest of the coasters are sub-par IMO

Thank you for your quick responses! I am so excited to go to KD in April because I have only lived in NC for a year and am already tired of Carowinds. It just doesn't have much variety and frankly Intimidator is on par with Afterburn.

It's great to see this ride going up so swiftly. I can't wait to see what this area looks like this season. I'm hoping this ride will greatly increase foot traffic to this area of the park!

I have a question for all you KD locals. I am thinking about heading up to the park sunday april 15. Are sundays usually busy at KD?

I agree with this. The Vekoma boomerang has been around a while, and there are so many flats or some small coasters that can fit in their footprint and be much more enjoyable.

^Gotcha. how does the Lancer Raliant stack up against the WRX in acceleration? I don't really follow Japanese cars, but I know the STi and Evo X are pretty comparable. Unrelated: Anyone remember when the Ferrari Enzo doing 0-60 in less than 3.5 seconds was considered ridiculous?

Personally I prefer the look of the WRX and STi, so if you are looking for a down-tuned one I would recommend the regular WRX instead of the STi, though I don't think the price difference is all that much unfortunately.

I agree. When I went in 2009 we finished everything we wanted to ride in the park (and some we didn't even want to ride), and wen to the water park during the afternoon just to eat some time while waiting for night rides on Talon and Steel Force. I don't know what kind of coaster they'd add though or where.

^You could stand near the exit to Bizarro at SFNE and eavesdrop on several GP talking about how Batman is better because it has these "Loopdy-loops" at any given time of day. They will never learn.

I love that intamin wing coaster! Also, the simplicity of the flume ride is actually refreshing, and I love the fish on the sign.

This is very sad to hear about, but it baffles me how a ship can run aground in this modern day with GPS and so many other technologies helping to guide the ship.

Duality - Slipknot

The new logo makes more sense in trying to portray DL as a more balanced, family-oriented park, but I think it looks like some of the logos that have been used in the games forum for RCT2 and RCT3. It just is not as visually stimulating as the previous logo IMO.

That art looks insane, which is good considering how disappointed everyone was after Thirteen.

I too think it looks overcrowded, but the arches and that water ride are amazing! I think there may even be too many coasters. I am finding it hard to keep track of everything.

The new GCI really adds to the skyline! I love how it is set between Supersplash and Blue Fire. Can't wait to see the pov of this ride when it opens.

It is always nice to see a park reach capacity, as it means the demand is extremely high. I hope this trend continues, as the more competition in Florida, the better in my opinion.

I got a PS3 that I bought for myself... Also, Batman: Arkham City, inFamous 2, several pairs of jeans, a Colorado Avalanche jersey, and some other petty things.

It's sad to see another park added to that list. It looks like Florida will be the Theme Park king forever! (which is better for my wallet)
