X(2)'s first drop freaked me out the first time I rode it (in the front row too!). One time I rode it and I wasn't securely locked properly and I slipped a bit. Pretty crazy.

Over winter break I went to a ghetto fair in Mexico, and I rode a Tagada. It was completely filled, running at full capacity, and I obviously freaked out when everyone fell off of their seats, and started rolling on top of eachother. It was probably one of the best rides I've ever been on, but totally unsafe

So far I'm happy that this won't be another X2 (the outside raven turn isn't in the rendering, if you haven't noticed). So we might be looking at an Eejanaika clone or possibly a brand new concept.

It's still not like Intamin to do this without the restraints. But you have a valid point, maybe Intamin is trying something different this time.

It is just very interesting since Intamin hasn't done this before, or at least we haven't seen this done before. But it does look like they are duplicating PP's restraints, I just find it odd.

Exactly what I said. Why would the restraint be unattached? Is it because it hasn't arrived, or is it because they're still teasing us with the possibilities of a solid OSTR versus the shoulder straps, who knows. EDIT: ^ Removing them prior to rigging the test for the pull-through sounds legit; however, why would the straps be removed on the other cars?

While it may look real, if you look closely there's a peg sticking out of the headrest opposite to where the Intamin restraint stems out. My guess is that peg is for the shoulder straps and that they are still yet to be installed, other than that It's pretty intriguing to see the restraints like that. Let the discussing commence
