Besides rides, my favorite thing to do in a park is people watching. It's just really fun (and a little awkward at moments). If anyone else enjoys people watching, share your stories!

For my chemistry class, I made a diorama featuring Adventure thru Inner Space to describe the periodicity of valence electrons. If that wasn't enough, My grading rubric came back with a 100% and "I loved Adventure thru Inner Space!" written at the bottom.

The Nickelodeon sponsorship has really improved this little park. I remember when the only coaster was the Ripsaw (Erm, Orange Streak)

Son of Beast was certainly interesting, but the novelty has worn off now. It was a good attempt, but it is not exactly a ride that deserves to be assosciated with a park like King's Island.

Being both a ride fan and a history buff, I thought it would be nice to have a thread about the gone-but-not-forgotten parks and rides of yesterday. So to get this thread started, what was your favorite memory of a vanished park/ride?

DLRP is getting a Toy Story land, too? I thought it was just HKDL.

Why do all the little German parks get the cool little coasters? More local parks in the US need thrills like this.
