Robb is at work today, so I'll post our update from last night! Tom was kind enough to drive us all to the "Blackpool comes to Warrington Fun Fair!" It was a pretty small fair, but they had a credit, and some messed up KMG death machines! Cast of characters: Robb - Big guy with the Camera Elissa - Cold girl trying to avoid spinny rides Tom - Non-German version chauffer for the night Ed - Tom's Brother and all around cool guy Louise - High Class British Porn Star Here we go! One last ride on the spinning mouse (sans Elissa!). Next up, our night of high class British Porn and excitement! Robb slaps Lou with his meat! Mmmmm Bread, Ketchup, and Mustard, a good snack indeed! Wait, what's wrong here? Isn't the grill supposed to face the other way!?!? Ed attacks Lou with his Smartie Sword! I may be smiling, but that's only because I'm planning all of your deaths! Then we went on the nice Ferris Wheel...oh wait, crap, it spins also!!! I'd like to say this was after the death ride, but no, Robb normally looks like this or worse! There's Robb and his glowing shoes getting an aneurysm! Here was the winner of 'Evil Flat Ride of Death' for the night. Forget the Ghost Train, Evil Ghost Tom is much scarier!!!! Hmmm, that doesn't look like a face of someone who's been through a 'frightfully good' ride does it? Oh wow! Let's check out this awesome dark ride! Another semi-normal spinny ride, so no one bothered to ride! They had a pretty good size wheel for a crappy fair! This ride was slightly less deadly so we didn't bother! Robb: Forget Elissa, I'm trading in for Lou! Lou: If he even touches me, I will kill him so much. Tom: I have no mouth, so I can't come up with a good saying. Ed: How did I let them talk me into coming to this fair again??? This was just one of the many evil spinning rides that I avoided, but took pictures of the others on! Now, back to the beginning...here's Robb with some Hot Roast Pork! Let's start this off for all the coaster boys...Here's Lou and I on the evil spinning mouse! Oh well, at least it's a credit!

So Guy, What are you going to name your next 46 rabbits in 8 weeks when they mature?!

Also it's important to note that all of our airlines are really messed up price wise! Check all of them, not just the low cost carriers and you may be surprised by fares you find!

Well, we had a pretty good evening at Blackpool today. Got on quite a few coasters - Steeplechase, Big Dipper, Wild Mouse, etc.... We have a whole day tomorrow! Can't wait! Alvey ...but of course Robb goes for the "Ice Cream Factory"... "See, I made it look JUST like the picture!!!" Oh, none of us can feel our internal organs, and the park is closing for the night, time to get dinner and warm up! And here it is!!! A TPR EXCLUSIVE! Because no one has ever, EVER taken this photo before! Remember, you saw it here FIRST!!!! Meeting up with Greg was like "old times" at the Pleasure Beach! Yeah, it's cold, but the insanity is keeping us warm. Not only does this ride have INSANE extreme airtime, if you're taller than 6 feet, you HAVE to duck on the lift hill!!! Elissa gets to ride a rodent! Oh, we are SOOOOO terrified! We even ran into a card carrying ACE member at the park! We took a ride on the really uber-scary Ghost Train which is a credit for people like Jeff Johnson! I really do think the park looks great all lit up at night! Got a ride on the Big Dipper, which was running GREAT! "I love my Arrow Steeplechase rides! Stupid Knott's for taking theirs out!" Of course our first stop is the Steeplechase! Yay! Nighttime at the Pleasure Beach! Lit up and looking cool.

Our flight was fine (Virgin Atlantic) and it was nice being able to choose from 50 different movies. I finally watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (liked it better than the original) and 40 Year Old Virgin (unedited!!!). Anyway, we've just checked into our room at the Big Blue Hotel, Blackpool....Here are some pics.... EDIT! Robb posted as SHARKTUMS!!! BOOO!!!! ...And here is our view from the hotel room! Pretty cool, huh? Non-German Tom gets the bunk beds!!! "Which bed is mine? Hell! I'll take both!!!" "I've never been so happy to see an Arrow coaster!" Next stop! Big Blue Hotel at Blackpool Pleasure Beach! Ahh! Now that is where we're heading! "Hey Southport! Nice sign you got there! We'll see you in a couple of months, but for now we'll visit your sister park...." Uh, oh....looks like we're heading into that snow covered "north" of England! Elissa's got the coca-cola, now all she needs is a McDonald's! Here I am, driving on the "other" side of the road and the "other" side of the car! Who needs Google Earth when you have "TPR Earth" Can you spot some popular landmarks here? From the plane we can see the north of England has gotten a bit of snow!

I've been in early April before and it was quite nice! Cold, but everything was running including water rides!

Yeah, again in this day and age with air launched, hydraulic launched, etc. I gotta say the LIM launches just don't do it for me anymore! That being said, my strongest LIM launch I would say is Chiller at SFGAd. Strongest other launch...Dodonpa by far!

I'll say this here, but I'll remind you again in June. If the line is not too bad, DO NOT wait for ERT. We all know how awesomely finicky the Intamin Rockets can be. Never pass a ride with a short line that has a chance at breaking!

Alright, I guess I'll play the bad guy here since Wes is nowhere to be found! The pictures aren't very interesting. There isn't even a train in two of them. The Goliath one you can't even see half of the train. Just from my experience with photos and video, people like to see the Roller Coaster doing something, not just sitting there being track.

There is a decent chance it will NOT be shorts weather. Just FYI!
