  1. I'm still surprised you're not dead from drinking a gas station milkshake!
  2. I doubt that Wicked Twister/Wildcat/Disaster Transport has a higher Capacity than the Aqua Trax.
  3. If you're taking a car service from the airport to the resort, they will usually make a complimentary 30 minute stop at a grocery store.
  4. Dollywood is a great place to just walk around and absorb the awesome smells of all kinds of great food! For me, being a picky eater, Knoebels has more than 3 things I eat which is CRAZY GOOD! As far as real 'Theme Parks', nothing beats the Walt Disney Resort in Florida.
  5. That's pretty sad. Although I'm picturing all of these exotic fish in plastic bags and the penguins going after them so that makes me a bit more happy.
  6. At this point, I would not be shocked to see them close down SFMM for part of January and February! I know Shapiro mentioned it in the interview we had with him, and seeing other parks change their schedules mid season...could be interesting!
  7. It's not hard at all, and I don't remember it being nearly that far. We always do our drives at night and stay right near the park we're visiting the next day. Some people are good with long drives, some aren't! Our longest drive one day drive on the Europe Trip was from Europa Park to Gardaland, after our day at Gardaland. It would have been about 2 hours shorter but we hit bad traffic in Switzerland. One drive that we did have to break up into two days was going from SFH to Farup Sommerland. We went to the denmark/german border after SFH, then the rest of the way the next morning, and made it to farup right after opening!
  8. ^Actually, you do kind of worry me and several other members with your borderline obnoxiousness about this stupid ride!
  9. The only group scarier than the GOCC peeps was the WNYCC people!
  10. I also have noticed that lots of people don't even realize when their restraint is being checked. Perhaps that could be the simple answer as well.
  11. We booked our airfare about 5 months in advance, and I continued to watch it all the time (for other people needing it) and it NEVER changed!
  12. We haven't been there for awhile, but when we were, it was for media day and we had special permission.
  13. I totally disagree with body slides not being for families. At the Disney Waterparks and others I've been to (Adventure Island) you're allowed to go down the slides a parent and a child together. I'm not talking about the insane death slides that go straight down, or have helixes of death, I'm talking about the ones that are about 30 - 40feet tall and have mainly twists and gentle drops.
  14. With exchange rates some parks in the UK and Japan work out to almost $70! Seriously though, let's keep this civil. It's all about what you're willing to pay money for. Some people are willing to shell out lots of cash for Parks, some are not. Let's be good!
  15. Having been to SFEG...170 mil does seem like a lot! Although...Flying Coaster would fit so perfectly in Flashback's space!!!
  16. Wow, that waterpark looked insanely busy! I would almost give the credit to Cedar Fair (because Dorney's waterpark is one of my favorites!) but most of the slides were Six Flags doing! S:UE was always my favorite Impulse, I'm wondering why some of you posted that you don't like it? I think I've been on all of them.
  17. I'm pretty sure their waterpark doesn't even have any body slides? I'd love a big tall complex of body slides!
  18. Happy Birthday!
  19. No one knows No one knows Probably never.
  20. I was shocked at first about the lapbars, until the ops would come over and tell me that mine was too tight!
  21. When I priced LAX - NRT I found perfect flights for $800. As for waterparks, yeah, we wouldn't include one in the trip, but some parks that have waterparks included you'd be welcome to hit.
