  1. So excited for you! All the best for a super grand opening!
  2. Kristen has a scream in the movie as part of their Indidgogo campaign Asylum ran!
  3. Show up an hour early. Get the Unlimited Rides Pass. Run to a coaster first that at least looked like it was testing. Then go to the Fastpass booth and get as many as you can. They are sold for different hour increments throughout the day. Even if no one is in the park you need the fastpasses due to operations. The rides will all close if it even looks like rain or wind. They don't really try to fill trains and will be confused if you go and try to sit with a single person as that's not really done a lot in Japan.
  4. I would wait until they put the dates on the Disney site. During that time of year they may even offer specials.
  5. My vote would be for Tripsdrill or Klotten based on what you've said. Skyline is not worth the additional hours driving.
  6. I've heard that even when they open the mythical single rider line that most employees don't know about it's not until a merge point (similar to Maverick) and makes no difference. Yay Six Flags!
  7. The only member titles that have that word are specific to a person, no one would get one for no reason like the standard donkey titles. The word is also not being used in a derogatory sense like how many people use it. Ex: "That's so retarded!" It's a medical term and is still used today. I worked for Special Olympics for several years, including when the Jackass type movie came out and using the word was just fine and the Special Olympics even embraced the movie! We all know or have people with 'special needs' in our families and nothing is being said against them. Heck, some of the words you mentioned that we should use instead have very troubled pasts and came out of mentally ill people! Ever heard of the "loony bin"? Like you said, this is not a serious site and it's best to just let it go!
  8. New Simpsons Update out today! July 4th themed. Rex Banner and building a 24 hour workshop are the first things to happen. Some big expensive things to buy as well.
  9. I also made it to Party Camel. I probably could have gotten the next prize if it hadn't been for the TPR Scandi Trip. I didn't spend any clams and don't feel like I need to for the remaining items.
  10. ^Some parks are not smart and/or too corporate to understand. We've seen it a ton!
  11. Nope. ERT is included in the event. Fast Lane Plus is optional for during normal operating hours.
  12. Lots and lots of Gorilla Tape!
  13. It's cool to keep seeing this park build and expand while maintaining some nice quality and theming.
  14. Two days later...he's still on the boardwalk! I don't know why this is funny to me, but it is!
  15. Kristen would be very mad that you missed out on seeing the Ocean Sunfish in the aquarium! We will personally show you around the aquarium next time as we spend a lot of time there.
  16. ^We've talked about helping out individuals with their own tours for a fee but it's not something we offer right now. If you have more specific questions about a tour that is closer than three years away, by all means post them and people will be happy to help you out!
  17. A little against the spirit of the game...I mean, we're not talking about Boardwalk Tiles here!!!
  18. FYI - My number 1 is STILL hanging out on my boardwalk!!!
  19. Seven more giraffes and Cleveland's mine!
  20. Let it go guys, or you'll just find yourself reposted in this thread again!
  21. It's understandable to be disappointed in this situation but I hardly think you can lay the blame on CP and Cedar Fair for this. If they're correct and it was a break that the City of Sandusky was in charge of that's just the failing, aging infrastructure in our country that we're going to have to deal with a lot more in the near future. I was sent home from SFNE one year after a water main break so it certainly happens.
  22. I would wait before buying it. I think we'll all be able to finish this event (how it's presented so far) without any spend. I'm about 400 idols and 10 giraffes away from unlocking Cleveland and haven't spent a dime. Now with the mummies giving out idols and Chris and Quagmire focused on giraffes I'll have him soon.
  23. So doing the math that ticket is about $800. If you're not sure about doing all of the Disney Parks you may find a cheaper option doing the Orlando Flex Ticket plus random Disney on the side. The Flex Ticket Plus which includes pretty much everything other than Disney that you want (again, no Fun Spot) is $356 with tax and shipping. Then you can get a Five Day Disney Park Hopper Ticket for $358. You can save more money if you downgrade the Disney Ticket. Also, make sure to price out discount tickets to Sea World and Busch Gardens separately unless you think you will visit them more than one day each. As far as an order to do the parks, it's really what you like. Most people would save Disney for last so as not to be disappointed, but if you're a strict roller coaster person then you'd probably leave Busch Gardens or IOA for last. Harry Potter person would leave Universal, fish person would leave Sea World. That time of year should be pretty good for crowds but weather is VERY bad. Make sure to have some flexible plans as there will be storms and dreadful heat and humidity.
