  1. ^I've seen people demolishing them. I demolished Double Loop. If C.P.M. didn't allow for relocation of rides, then he would have made it to where you couldn't demolish any rides.
  2. Hmmm, this looks quick. I'll possibly whip up an Intamin woodie, or a CUSTOM one specially from me (no manufacturer)!
  3. Newton 2 Article and Download As for custom trains, that is a "no". There is no option to import train and track types. There is too much detail, as well as various viewing distances that must be created to make a train. Basically, it's not simple, and the team just opted out on custom train input so that the game's quality wouldn't go down to RCT level. Considering that you're just starting NoLimits, I don't know how this "project" will turn out, but good luck. It often takes years of practice at NoLimits to become an average builder. However, considering it's only a school project, I'm sure you could even make a 100-loop coaster with 1,000 G's, and people will think it's genius. Nobody is going to nit-pick you on detailed shaping and manufacturer references or anything.
  4. I'm sure it's okay if you go a couple months over. I basically saved mine right after the objective ended though.
  5. What's so hard to imagine? He saw 6 boobs and another one that was cut in half. Big deal.
  6. That was my thought at first...I was down with the complete lack of scenery. But later on, it was actually fun coming up with an eye-appealing park with little scenery. I went with the crowded Midway look, surrounded by some forest themed rides near the entrance.
  7. I FINISHED! lol (^that's a link BTW) I had a lot of spare time today. So, download my Vintage Gardens edition! It features Iron Horse, a wild Morgan Hyper with a wacky double-up AND double-down hill! Also featured is a wild GCI twister named Outlaw which features a Renegade-style first drop! Hidden within the Midway, you'll find lots of attractions shoe-horned in to fit, such as an overlooking slide that goes over Teh Big Dipper! Be on the look out for completely random Easter Eggs that were a by-product of my boredom. (I ran out of rides to build and I still had a year left in the scenario!) Some can be found in ride names (if you call them eggs), and a few in particular are found in (or away) from the park. Below are some pictures. The big overview! A closer look... The Iron Horse hyper coaster! Complete with lakeside fly-by! This element on Outlaw looks so sick with the bowtie look to the crossovers! Outlaw features a Renegade-style first drop! The Hornet replaced Double Loop shortly in the 1980's during the big "multi-inversion rush". You can also see a Dinghy Slide, which I rarely make, but I had extra time and nothing else to do!
  8. ^Yes, this will be available for download on Theme Park Review, CoasterCrazy, and NoLimits-Exchange. Be warned though, it will probably kill your FPS. The video is actually complete, but I'm waiting until next Sunday for the release date. Next Sunday (June 12th), the ride will be released, announced on the 5 major forums and uploaded to 3 exchanges of choice. A MediaFire upload may also be posted for those that need a separate means of obtaining the ride.
  9. ^Yeah, but you still have to raise it block-by-block, which costs money. And I'm lazy. We'll see what happens, but yeah.
  10. ^My thoughts exactly! Going around The Big Dipper isn't exactly easy to do in a "pretty" way. Also, the lack of terrain and trees to boot is not too fun either (manually saving money and placing single trees is a pain). But I'm making a go of it!
  11. This looks intriguing...and it's classic RCT2! Which I can do! No "NE" stuff! I still have a feeling I'm going to get raped by awesome content though...I haven't played in a while..
  12. I'm just suggesting that you be careful. If you want to do it the way montu32 did it, just go ask him. It'd be the best way to get the best result. I'm not exactly sure whether you replace the wheelset or if you take the chairset off the dive train and put it on the Scorpion car.
  13. If you need any more help, you could post on the CoasterDynamix forum, and hopefully montu32 will be around to tell you how he did it. If not, Johnny Upsidedown surely knows some other way to help, since he's modded so many trains (including a custom flyer train). ^Didn't know you signed up Kevin! Nice to see you here lol.
  14. Yeah, see if you can use prefabs on the holding brake, but ONLY to about 45-60 degrees. Then finish with all flex (going to 90, then pulling out). It'd make it look much more like this: Also, if you don't have a Scorpion train yet, then sadly, you will not be able to get the metal wheels. Still, with some slight tweaks to your layout (in terms of height spacing), I'm sure it will turn out to work fine. Good luck!
  15. I would catch you guys up on this completely janked-up construction progress, but that'd take like 8 pages. Simply put, this is a ride I made last year. I started to make 3Ds for it, failed, then gave up. A few months later, a guy on the CoasterCrazy forum named "TheArchitect" decided to collab with me and redesign the prior tunnel-terrain 3D that I did to a full-fledged asylum. Props to him...he saved the project from the scrapyard! Basically, I'm going to be making a video for the next week or so. When that uploads, I'll be releasing the ride on 5 major forums. The video will be critical for a lot of you, even for those with NoLimits. While ArcTec optimized his asylum 3D very well (25fps alone), this coaster's flange set and detailed trains bring the FPS to a crash where it has a hangover at the single-digit range on pretty much all average-joe computers. Sweet. So yeah, that's the past half-of-a-year of my free time in eight lines of text. You're welcome. And be excited for June...because you'll probably be hitting up some parks... ...and watching the video for my ride.
  16. Hey cool5, is this gonna top the Ciggies Coaster? I remember that Jet Coaster from way back when.
  17. ^Yes, I'd recommend mixing and matching flex with prefab. Do prefab over just the holding brake (just like RCT), then do flex for the drop so it has a nice curvature to 90 and flat again. Hopefully you're able to do that okay (I've never used CD's new prefab system), but if it works, it'll look incredibly realistic. Also, you may be able to wrap the spring around the curve and holding zone to where it holds the train over and releases (well, moves it along and releases). Also, that layout is very ambitious. CD Dive trains have no guide wheels, which from my experience with looper trains, severely cuts off speed. If you have one of the original Scorpion trains (and you plan on making this model permanent), see if you can mod the train to have the full, metal wheelset. Near the end of the video, you see that the smoothly running train has modded Scorpion wheels. I'd recommend that for best performance. However, if you don't have access to them, there isn't much you can do. CoasterDynamix is redesigning the train to not have these awesome wheels anymore (because they are very breakable for non-modelers).
  18. ^I'm not lying either! lol He created 4 topics on another forum once for one of his rides he was making. Each had one update by him. Then you get random stuff like this about 70% of the time. I like to compare cool5 directly to quality. *sits back to see how active he becomes here*
  19. Awesome! Cool5 joins the forums! Get your topic deletion trigger fingers ready, mods. lol
  20. ^Yeah, I realized that too after I posted it lol. Who knows...
  21. ^Probably for a two-train station like Maverick.
  22. ^Seriously? Haha, that is going to be interesting for sure!
  23. I personally think the blue you used is stellar. It's so rich and colorful (but not wildy intense). It's perfect. And this project looks great!
  24. Took a picture of a Newton2 calculus graph pane...slapped a logo on the corner. Instant success.
