I'm gonna go ahead and echo what everyone else said about going to an event like this on Saturday. That's your own fault. The Christmas Town in Williamsburg hit capacity yesterday and people were blasting them on Facebook like it was their fault a TON of people wanted to go to their event. Try going on a different day! If you're a local, you should already know that BGT is a disaster on most Saturdays, so what would make you think that a special event would make the crowds any better? As for this......... Do you really think a first-time event at a park could really compete with something Disney has been doing for several years now??

If they don't catch and stop you at that point, then they're required to let you swing, and swing, and swing, and swing until you're basically stopped over the launch platform. Believe me, by that point, it's REALLY boring.

Really excited to check this out and see how it stacks up to BGW's Christmas Town (which blew me away last year).

Yep, Skycoasters are far and away the safest rides in the amusement industry. It's really not even close.

Just rode Test Track a little bit ago, and it's..........different. Seemed more like an extended commercial for Chevy and OnStar than a "Test Track." I definitely think a name change should have happened. The visuals were definitely cool, though. The biggest complaint I have is the outside section still having all that backstage area visible. It's something I thought a company as obsessive about the overall experience as Disney would make sure didn't look that janky.

The DBH had some ridiculous airtime in the front row, it was definitely a huge surprise the one time I went there and rode it. But as others have said, noooooooooooobody was there the day we went. I think the most people we ever had on a train with us was like 3 or 4. I can't imagine what that ride would have been like with full trains. I'll pour one in honor of our fallen woodie comrade. This one, not SOB.

^Voyage has been steadily getting rougher over the years, and they even rebuilt the spaghetti bowl turn around because of it. Ravine Flyer II has held up quite well over time, and the last time I rode it in 2011, it was still very smooth. Boardwalk Bullet has had to go through a lot of corrective maintenance, but from my understanding, that was because M&V bungled the construction in the first place. TGG just makes some extremely aggressive rides, and just like early GCIs, the PTC trains tear the track to shreds on those rides.

I wouldn't have considered that a major reprofile, nor would I could the 305 as a major one. However, adding/taking away an entire inversion is something major, especially on a wooden coaster. Which brings to mind Drachen Fire. Anyone ride both versions? Do you count both?

I never got the original credit, so I have no bias in this case, but I've always said a major redesign should be considered a new credit (SOB with or without the loop comes immediately to mind). I could understand not counting it, though.

The first one I ever rode was at Hershey when I was in 8th grade, and I thought it was awesome. I didn't ride another one for probably 7 or 8 years, and when I finally got on another one, I wished I was dead. I absolutely hate them now.

I got stuck behind some Mennonites on Blue Streak at CP a couple summers ago, and they rode arms up. That might have been the foulest stench I've ever smelled on a coaster. Also, I rode behind someone on Boulder Dash ERT during the NE Trip last year that absolutely should have re-applied (or applied for the first time) his/her deodorant.

^The Gold Dorms are pretty much right behind Corkscrew. That area of the park would get pretty massively crowded if they tore out Corkscrew and those dorms for a new ride.

Given the amount of people that live in Orlando (and Florida in general) that aren't from the South, I'd say a Confederate Flag wouldn't work.

^Part of the tunnel is under water level, yes. Obviously the entire tunnel isn't underwater, that would be impossible.
