I was actually looking forward to having the rollerskater up top, so the kids would have something to ride up there. Putting the coaster in the kids area kinda kills the whole feel of the kids riding a real coaster as opposed to just another kiddie ride. Now that it's gonna be in the kiddie area, I'm put my vote in with the "why bother" crowd.

Post What Halloween Event You've Been To!
fatdaddy replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did the haunt event at Knott's, food was great, Robb was creepy. Kinda did Fright Fest at SFMM, only got three mazes in and a scare zone, pretty awesome though. The kids did Camp Spooky, kid friendly monsters, trick or treat and even a kid cornstalkers maze. Sea Worlds Spooktacular was cool, tons of candy from the trick or treat (even adults can trick or treat), fun characters all over the place, special pirate 4D movie which was pretty good, and a Sesame Street show featuring The Count. Of course the kids dressed in costume for these, quite a few kids were dressed up. I still have to go to SFMM for their kid friendly stuff and maybe another shot at some mazes. Other than that, took the family to Peltzer Farms in Temecula for the corn maze and pumpkin patch. Still got a few pumpkin patches to hit. Oh and Santa Ana Zoo has a Boo at the Zoo event. Um, then theres Bass Pro Shops Halloween event which features the Peanuts gang, the whole Great Pumpkin thing I guess. And we wrap it all up with a trip to my aunts old folks home for some trick or treat, which is oddly enough called "Cypress Gardens". My son at Peltzer Farms pumpkin patch. Camp Spooky. One of the mazes in Camp Spooky, the foam wasn't working. Shirts from the Haunt event. Shamu and the kids, yes they have multiple costumes. Some of the special characters they have at Sea World for Halloween, these guys sang to the kids. -
Took both my girls on Ninja for the first time Friday, they loved it. I knew they would like it, but they had to brave the scare zone up there to get to the coaster. After 3 rides they ran for the Orient Express, and I went to check out the maze we got a tour of during WCB. Awesome maze, actually got "scared" a couple times. The scare zone was pretty good too, I think what they did right was that it was hard sometimes to tell the scare actors from the GP. So, I literally didn't notice some of them 'til they were right in my face.

Any slide that can launch Big Mike like that has to be awesome. Gotta give it to the big man, he had really good controll in the air, like a giant Evel Knievel. -

I think instead of boycott, they meant boy c*ck, I think they are planning to rape Robb. Oh, and good luck with the herpes chadster. -
Just noticed that, thanks, does this mean I get a new "title" every year?

Robb actually was pretty awesome in the maze, he didn't even break character. I was actually looking for him, and then I look up and he's staring me in the face. It was kinda startling to look up and see Robb all vampired out and the fact he didn't break character added the the creepy factor. And, of course, he got the best place in the maze, right next to the nasty pole dancers. Aside from Robb, my favorite maze was Labyrinth, and the hanging was amazing. First time to Haunt for me and this event made it pretty sweet. Hope it happens again.

Thanks for ruining the illusion Robb. What are you gonna do next tell me theres no Santa Claus, or thats not really Micky Mouse at Disneyland. I'm just gonna pretend you didn't say anything and go back to picturing Elissa with her pixie dust and you you with your magic wand. -
First off, who hasn't seen a dog giving itself or other dogs oral stimulation and/or performing homosexual acts, dogs have no shame. So I don't understand the attention given to the bat porn. Secondly, I will have to move closer to a theme park, so when my son has a asthma attack a can throw him on a coaster. I would assume if he had an attack at school I could pick him up and quickly take him to Six Flags.

Read first, post second. Really, at this point we know that both sides are gonna run backwards and the word is no retheme. I think eventually they may run one side frontwards again, but the cpacity would suck if they only did one side when it reopens. I mean think of the lines when Superman first opened, they were terrible.

Well, I ain't 38 no more. So the title and my age now clash, would you mind changing it. I would make suggestions, but since I am devoid of a personality and don't have any interests, I really can't help. Ok, that is all, I'm gonna go help my daughter make ponies out of Lego's.

Best Theme Park Food
fatdaddy replied to ChrisZer0's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Pretty sure they do, I know a friend of mine got Chili in a sourdough bowl and I think there was also soup or some kinda chowder. That was at the restaurant in Ghost Town. Gotta try those clams at Canobie Lake. -
Best Theme Park Food

The hotdogs at the exit of SeaWorld San Diego are pretty awesome. Mrs. Knott's fried chicken, gotta get the biscuits and boysenberry jam. Those giant cupcakes at Disneyland are probably the reason I'm fat. Three Dog Night at any theme park that has Pink's is awesome, it's pretty much a 3 chili dog burrito with bacon. Oh and one other thing, my cousin had a roast beef sandwich at Marine Land (Palos Verdes) when he was a kid and hasn't been able to find it's equal since. Of course the park is gone and so are the sandwiches.
