OMG! That was the most furkin' awesome PTR EVER! I can't stop looking at it. First off, I had low expectations considering Gertrude never finished he BAB report. Then I see ghosts and I'm like "David's being lazy and is just gonna do some lame video game reference.", but then you actually made it awesome, and even more awesome with Charlie Sheen! Winning! Oh my god David, this report...Oh my god David, this report..On my god! I'm like seriously gonna buy you your own goose and become a vegan. OMG! -

Why do you keep saying things like this? LOL! -
I do not enjoy the rain at all, but the tour of Xcelerator sounded amazing! I would've given anything to see the "innards." I wonder if it wasn't raining if you would've gotten such a complete tour like you did??? As Robb has said many times, the rain didn't dampen (pun not intended) anyones spirits. The rain actually made the crowds lighter, and although the rides closed off and on, I got quite a few rides in. I'm pretty sure the tours were arranged before hand, and were awesome. You could tell that Knott's took some pride in putting things together for us, they really went all out. The rain didn't really start pouring until after Q and A, at which time I notice catawampus got a lot of visitors. I mean it seemed like everyone was really into the event and no matter what mother nature threw at us we found a way to have fun. I gotta say that the surprise early ERT in the rain was amazing. We were just getting ready to leave, when Robb gave us the ERT schedule. Then "just one ride" on Sidewinder turned into three rides, and somehow ended on the Log Ride about an hour later. I was cold, tired and wet, but wouldn't have missed it for anything.

Cool report, I like that place cause my kids are more concerned with the beach than the rides. So, I got to ride while they played in the sand. Keep the reports coming, I go to parks out here so much, it's nice to see them from a fresh point of view, and you wouldn't want to disappoint Laura. -
^Thanks for the clarification on the check-in, that's what I thought, but having it spelled out helps. Oh, and I see Valecia has a high of 69 today. I actually hope the weather stays cool, last year it got a little hot in the middle of the day, and since I'm fat and had chowed down at lunch it was a little uncomfortable. Looking forward to morning ERT since I'm a fan of B & M coasters. I'm gonna get dressed and sit in the car til it's time to go.

^Guess I gotta figure out how to use my phone by the weekend, all I've learned so far is that Angry Birds does nothing, but make me angry. No offense, but I blame...um...somebody...never heard of Angry Birds til she mentioned it. Um, Facebook I got mostly worked out, kinda. Yeah, could you clarify "check in", cause I think I know, but usually when I think I know something, I just end up making an a$$ outta myself.

^Sunglasses, sun screen and camera can fit in your pockets, as most of the people on here will tell you, cargo pants/shorts work best. I would stay away from velcro pockets, as the forces on some of the coasters are pretty strong, button or zipper pockets are good. A light jacket or even an undershirt would work for the night/morning as long as the forecast doesn't call for rain, it can get pretty cold on there in the evening, and riding a coaster speeding through the night air makes it even colder. Last year I just left my stuff in the car and went out in the evening and changed from shorts to pants, and grabbed a hoodie. Also, I did take a nap in the car during the afternoon, just remember to check the events schedule to make sure you won't miss anything. Other than that it's a really well run event and as long as you look at the itinerary you should be ok.
