Corkscrew at Cedar Point

^The thing I don't understand about that though is why there is a gigantic plot of land cleared on Millennium Island. I was just at the park yesterday and I got a good view of the clearing from the top of MF. The area is pretty large and it appeared there was some kind of backhoe or something down there. We also saw the mystery "track" from the top of the hill on Maverick and I'm not sure if it is track or not. It may just be something for the Halloween theming.

Well I am going there tomorrow with a friend and we have both decided to do a little bit of investigating on what exactly is going on here.

Looks like I missed out on taking part in my first round of the find the ducky game. Oh well, I guess I will just have to start next week

Sitting on the brake run on Magnum the guy in front of me and my friend was talking about how Mean Streak used to be where Magnum is and Magnum used to be where Mean Streak was and just last year the picked them up with big cranes and switched their positions. We started cracking up at the stupidity.

Kings Island, July 30-August 1

Probably "Le Disko" by Shiny Toy Guns Maybe "Kickstart My Heart" for a second ride. None of these songs sound like they would really fit the ride all that well. They seem kind of generic.

Behemoth is such a photogenic coaster. CW overall looks to be very photogenic, or you are an excellent photographer.

Nice TR, Cliff's looks like a fun little park. P.S.- I like how you included the little fun facts throughout the report, such as the one about the New Mexico Rattler entrance.

Nice TR's I really want to visit WoF and Valleyfair!, Prowler and Renegade look really fun.

Wow I just finished reading all 387 pages of TR's and discussion and I must say I am impressed. This is my first post in this thread and of all of the TR's on all of the internet that I have read, this is probably the best. I could only dream of riding 854 coasters! Keep it up Big Mike!

I agree with everyone on the being staged part. I saw the first episode and it was slightly cheesy and not as "random" as they say it is. Overall, the show isn't that bad, but it would be better if they mixed up the parks every week.

All of this speculation makes me really excited for KD. Hopefully we are not dissapointed here. So far this looks and sounds like another reason to make my first trip to KD next summer.

Haha I like the joke a lot, while OSU may win the Big Ten every year they don't represent well at all in the bowl games. The Big Ten is really losing a lot of respect though. With Michigan in the process of rebuilding from the ground up all there is left is an overrated Ohio State team and Penn State who can't compete outside of the Big Ten. Sadly, the Big Ten is no longer one of the top conferences in college football. Hopefully that will change in a few years when all of the underclassmen become juniors and seniors and Michigan rises back to the top.

I don't know if anyone else on here is very big into U of M football or even College Football for that matter, but if you are post your thoughts here. I would like to start out by saying that although they may not win the Big Ten this year, I think Michigan will still be solid and go maybe 7-5 regular season. I think Coach Rodriguez has done a great job with recruiting so far and I am very anxious to see both Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson play next year.

Just back in April I got hit on the head with a 1.6K fiberglass discus. I was between my turns throwing at a track meet and one of my friends was messing around with it and accidently let go of it. Luckily it mostly hit my ear. My ear was twice the size of the other for two weeks and I still need to get it drained from the cauliflower ear it caused.

Hey I'm John from Oregon, Ohio or Boregon as I enjoy calling it. I live about 45 minutes away from Cedar Point so that is my home park. Being that close to Cedar Point really got me into roller coasters as we normally visit at least ten times a year. I'm finally persuading my parents to take me around the midwest to visit other parks. My first park outside of Cedar Point and WDW will be Kings Island later this month and I decided to join TPR to learn about all of the great parks all around the world.

Kings Island on July 30th and 31st to finally ride Diamondback

Wow Grona Lund looks freakin' awesome. Insane looks like a really intense and exciting ride. The thing that amazes me is how all four of those coasters are almost intertwined. It is so compact.
