  1. Great TR Big Mike! I can't wait until Friday when I get out to the park. Looks like you had a lot of fun.
  2. ^I think the GP love Son of Beast because of the gimmicky title of tallest wooden coaster in the world. The GP loves that kind of stuff, but I don't mind because it means shorter lines elsewhere. IMO, Mean Streak is probably the roughest roller coaster I have been on, not fun at all.
  3. From what I have been on, which isn't a lot, I would have to say Magnum because of those painful bunny hills that provide insane ejector air. Ravine Flyer II is a close second with the speed hills over the bridge.
  4. Waldameer is by far my favorite small park. There is such a great atmosphere there.
  5. ^^^Cool logo, hopefully the ride is as good as this.
  6. ^What you are calling the lift is the drop, the lift is an elevator that travels up the two gray supports at the top of the drop.
  7. Great TR as always, Big Mike. Holiday World looks really nice. I really want to go there sometime soon to get on The Voyage seeing as how I loved RF2, which is the only other TGG coaster I have been on.
  8. I went to Waldameer yesterday and all I can say is that Ravine Flyer II is awesome. My favorite part is going over the bridge after the turnaround, that hill gets you by suprise. The ninety degree section is nice as well. Nice TR btw.
  9. I'm confused...what exactly is the rumor here?
  10. This show looks incredible, I thought fantasmic was amazing, but this looks at least ten times better.
  11. ^Being good at grammar includes capitalizing all of your "I's"
  12. All of this is making me excited to go to this small little park. It will be a different experience for me as I have never been to a park that wasn't corporately owned and I look forward to seeing a small little classic park.
  13. ^Thanks a lot I have heard that there is mist that comes from the lake at night that gets on the track and makes RF2 much faster, I'm really looking forward to that.
  14. ^Yes there is a lot more room, and I know there is no other option on Maverick these days, but I don't understand why they need these restraints on rides like KK that don't have any inversions.
  15. I hate the OTSR's on Intamin rides such as Maverick and Kingda Ka, on both of those rides I was thrown into the restraint and it doesn't feel pleasant, not the worst I have experienced, but I would think Intamin could do better.
  16. Thanks everyone, hopefully the day goes as planned.
  17. I was at Disney in early June and there was a lot of buildings being refurbished, if these buildings were going to be turned into something else why would they refurbish them now instead of just waiting until this would happen if this is true?
  18. ^Thanks for the help, I really can't wait to get on RF2, especially at night.
  19. This Saturday I plan on going to Waldameer. It will be my first visit to the park and I have a few questions: I am going to the park to ride Ravine Flyer II, but what are some of the other must see attractions at the park? I know its a small park, but I was just wondering if there would be a very big crowd on a weekend? And finally, should I get the POP pass, or should I pay for the rides individually? Thanks in advance for the help guys. EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to ask originally, but do they run the rides in the rain? Thanks for the help again.
  20. ^Yeah a few nights ago it got down to the forties where I live in Oregon, just outside of Toledo. It has been a weird summer to say the least. One day it will be 90, the next it will be 65.
  21. ^Not true, just went on Sunday and there were quite a few bugs. Night rides on Millie in the front row don't feel good when you get ambushed by small gnats. Its on a lake, there will always be bugs.
