lol. They should have made the drop more steeper. And at least themed it and given it like 2-3 more drops. Well i dont ride anything that goes upside down yet so i could live without it lol (i had bad experiences when i was kid)

I miss em both. I never got to ride mile high falls much since my mom didnt like to pack around water shoes to the parks to ride 2 rides. But the real loss is the zeppelins lol.

lol I never noticed the orb until you said something. thats just about comparable with what ive gotten up at waverly. The park looked like a lot of fun. Especially balder

I found the blue side of Twisted Twins to be alot better. The pink, go ahead and tear it down, its like a miniature SOB. I like it better since it had a better seat layout, no humongous divider squishing you, the lap bar felt better then thunder runs though i do prefer thunder runs handles on its bar, and it seemed to be a whole lot smoother. The pink was just about the opposite. I just wish they would open the back section up for at least a day before they tear them down so i can get my last ride in on all of the rides.

Too me it looks scary lol. The drop is ok, the elevator lift would make me flip out. Thats what the park needs really. Or a sky ride lol. that would make the park almost a 10/10 for me.

Ahh i just thought they both was yellow. I used to only cross over to the exit when i was like 10 so guess i started riding it after the red car was removed they still need it though. Personally, they need to close thunder run and reopen twisted twins in my opinion. I always thought Twisted Twins was alot better. Id say Thunder Run is good but right now, its a stretch unless they completely finish all the track replacement. I'll still ride it even without it but never two times in a row.

So far for me its just been: Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom But in the next two months I'll be visiting these: Holiday World - Twice in a single month. Kings Island - if i can convince my mom to go there for our vacation

^Ive seen some of the places but ive never been to them. I went to science center last month and i dont know if its as good as it used to be or not. They got rid of the space section -.-. By the way i think they are getting rid of the colgate clock since someone bought the factory,

From here its around 2 hours to Kings Island and to Holiday world is just around 1 hour and a half like he said. It used to be a better park before they built that big fence and closed the log ride and twisted twins. And sadly thats just about as good as KK will ever get since we ran out of space and the 200ft height restriction

haha This is my home park. I rode Thunder Run after not riding for nearly a year(i only rode becuase i heard they fixed the track) and man it was rougher then ever, i think its got SOB in a dead tie for roughest coaster. But i will say this, from last year to this year KK has improved alot.

Hmmm... wouldn't this make this the 3rd accident on SOB? I say we start a petition to have the ride destroyed. My friend said shes suing the park though. In my opinion, id sue CF, not KI, and whoever built SOB. How they havent been sued for all these accidents is beyond me. Hopefully the state of Ohio finds somehting wrong with it and will have it torn down or something.

Great TR!. I know im pretty mad that SM is closed for the year too but I wasnt even planning on going this summer anyway. One question, what the heck happened to the monorail beam? It goes and then it's just cut off lol.

I absolutely love thunderhead. Its got to be one of the best wooden coasters ive ridden. How it hasnt gotten the award for best wooden coaster is beyond me, it beats anything ive ever ridden. Timber Tower doesnt have much spinning, it spins most of the time but its just a slow spin. Its another great ride i wish we had up here. I never got to ride mystery mine due to the fact it was in construction so i would really love to go back and ride it, it looks great.

Mine probably has to be classic rock, and country, I listen to alot of genres so its hard for me to pick just one.

Twisted Twins? Its been SBNO for the last 2 years and i got a feeling its gonna be either destroyed or Auctioned off.

How about strapping a Shuttle engine to them? it wouldn't be top thrill dragsters, it'd be top thril shuttle. I still wouldnt ride it tho lol. I guess to be serious, something thats fast and isnt torturing. Although Top Guns lift at KI which is slow is pretty nice beacuse you get to see the whole park sort of so its got a pretty decent lift.

what ive been hearing from CM's is that this will be a 2 part Refurb, with this one doing most of the work, and then another one maybe next year. They are supposedly adding music so they are redoing the track and reinforcing the support beams to handle the music. I say screw music, get new cars that actually fit people other then midgets seriously, when i was 5 ft. 7 i barely fit in the front seat now im a whole half a foot taller so i cant even imagine the pain ill be in. Overall, its getting this Newly painted Roof to darken it even more, sorta liek what they did over at DLR New Track New interactive Queue Rumored - Music, and possibly a new car since they usually get their cars off of Matterhorn and Matterhorn has been testing a new design.

Great TR. Im going in a few weeks and then another time in a few more weeks, dont ask my mom and cousin never talk when they plan stuff -.-. How was Legend and Raven running? I'm thinking about riding Legend for the first time, i never got the chance when i was their last time.

I think they did at one time. Ive been going ever sicne its been a Six flags park and im pretty sure it had a 2nd one that was in the station as the 2nd was running and then it was released as the other came into the brake run. still Thunder run sucks now.

Your right they are lol. I went Friday to get my friend in for free with those coupons they give Season Pass holders and i rode Thunder Run and omg that was just horrible. They made some track repairs over like 15% of the ride and it was so rough. Even in the places these repairs were made, it was still super rough. Add that to flying off a half rough section into a 100% rough area and its painful. And to worsen it, they had it running like 10-15 MPH faster then they usually run it so it was even worse. I didnt even consider riding T2. and Greezed lighting was closed, their last roller coaster, which isnt a surprise because the ride is closed about 40% of the time due to a break down or something. Now do you all believe me this park needs a new ride or something? I mean its pretty bad when your entire waterpark is better then the whole rest of the park. Oh and I do believe Thunder Run ran a second train 2-3 years ago but now its down to 1. Which makes me hate the ride even more because the seats are so odd, they have a divider int he middle, and if you have long legs, the lap bar basically will smash them and your arms will get smashed by the divider. Also, the park since its close the the Louisville intl airport, it has a height restriction, and we are out of room basically. Which i hate because now they are destroying Twisted Twins, and the Log ride. The drag racers have been closed though for about 4 years or so. hopefully they will do something with it. what they should do, is take down the pink version of Twisted twins, and sell it to get some money off it, and then sell the log ride and the drag cars. The blue version of Twisted Twins was the only one that was ever smooth and didnt kill you when you rode it. that back section has so much potential though -.-

Haha. Well what if they tore it down and then built a new coaster like 2 years after its gone? Give them time to get money and get a good looking ride in. At least the future coasters will be built right because its a Cedar Fair park now.

Well they bought KI. And im just saying they have like all the major parks in the Ohio Valley Region. If they took KK i wouldnt mind, maybe we would get a new coaster or something.

You want SF to add rides to add rides to SFKK. But, if they add rides, SF will add to their debt... -Tatum While that may be true then perhaps SFI should consider NOT adding rides to ANY of their parks for a year or two as a means to save money.Adding all these big coasters to SFMM & SFGRADV every other year is partly,if not mostly to blame for the mess that they're currently in. Thats my idea, but i just checked a site about what parks are getting a new coaster and it said SFMM new coaster next year. its really insane if you ask me. And the thing about Cedar Fair taking some, i meant like how they have all those parks up in IN, and OH, they might take some of the local SF parks in the area, like KK, the one in Illinois and so on.
