  1. I find it strange to see people mentioning the park's failings because when we visited in September the place was kicking ass and taking names. Every ride was open, no downtime, no big lines, etc. We had an absolutely incredible day with multiple laps on every coaster (except Powder Keg because those are the worst, most uncomfortable trains on earth and I've ridden a Screaming Squirrel) and that was while taking our sweet time to wander around. We never felt like we had to rush; just a chill, relaxing day. Hopefully Shavethewhales went on an off-day and that doesn't become the norm.
  2. Yes, their POV is absolutely godawful, but damn this ride looks wild. Those barrel rolls over the midway buildings look pretty intense.
  3. It's hard to tell with the wording of the article, but is the conductor going to be a Disney character like Mickey or are they just getting some nice, smooth-talking voice actor to be a new character in the Disney universe?
  4. They were beaten to the punch by Guardians, it seems.
  5. I don't have any skin in the game for this park, I just wanted to pop in and mention how funny it is that one of the most active topics on TPR is this park, one that hasn't had anything noteworthy happen to it in, I dunnno, forever.
  6. Sooooooo is it a ride? An event? A beating of a dead horse?
  7. I mean, there's obviously a reason the one at that art museum lets only one person per hour ride.
  8. What's the over-under on a Skyline ride having a loading cycle that's less than twenty minutes?
  9. The games are phenomenal, the movie was pretty darn crappy. This ride looks pretty funky, though. I'm a sucker for wacky indoor coasters with gimmicks (looking at you Winjas and Van Helsing).
  10. Wonder Mountain's Guardian 2 - We added a helix.
  11. Yeah, that's one of the things I love most about this forum. We're not full of the people who want to talk about rumors and possibilities like most other sites have. I mean, yeah, I'll donate to the rumor mill but I'm fairly certain my contributions (like an octuple tire launch for TTD) are so wildly dumb that nobody would take them seriously. We live in the age of social media, though, where anyone can believe anything, no matter how bugnuts wackadooo it may be, so silly me, I guess. Also, it's the off season, not much to discuss. Basically if you want nonstop discussion about nothing of merit then go to Reddit or other forums full of that stuff.
  12. No loss with these two (craptacular) shows closing, and hopefully this means they'll finally kill the really really terrible Jabbawockeez HHN show. That being said, if they relocate to the Waterworld arena and give us a show with explosions and water breakdancing I'm all for it.
  13. Hopefully a partnership with City Museum and guests will be allowed to climb anywhere.
  14. I haven't been to KD in quite some time. Are the trains buzz bars or those godawful orange lap bars that inexplicably curve inwards to your knee?
  15. It's a clue. Flaming Dragster.
  16. Looks a bit more detailed than the one in Storybook Land Canals.
  17. I'm a bit out of the loop, but did they announce when the announcement will be? Maybe they moved the webcam back because there's no secrets soon. Personally I'm still hoping for a new tire-drive octuple launch.
  18. There's a joke in here about Lightning Rod PTSD but I'm not finding it currently.
  19. We can now get vengeance at Kennywood, Dorney, and Hershey. PA doesn't let go of grudges, eh?
  20. Oh thank christ, SpongeBob StorePants is still open. I nearly had a heart attack.
  21. Alright, that looks pretty dang funky.
