Seems like removing two coasters for two better coasters. Seems like an upgrade to me. -

well, six years is quite a while for a good coaster, and i though WoF brought in people arouund the 4 million mark, but idk Its definately going to MiA, WoF, or a Paramount Park (CW maybe) Canadas Wonderland got a mouse, a volaire, and Italian Job in a 10 year span. WoF has been treaded pretty well it seems. -

You should care though. Don't you realize that next May you'll get to ride the worlds longest steel roller coaster. (Dragon Mountain @ Marineland)* *20 years ago it was, but Marineland STILL uses the "worlds largest steel roller coaster" advertisements. -
What does everyone think of Goliath (LA RONDE)
Carnage replied to canada's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hyper is anything over 200 feet. Not really much to argue about. La Ronde's Goliath is commonly called a mini-hyper. I don't really understand the point of that title though. I might finally get to La Ronde this summer. Just gotta setup some free lodging at my freinds place in Ottawa, and then use my SFMM play pass. Definetly not paying anything to get into that place. -

Interesting. I'm curious, how did you get all the way to Montreal without riding anyting inbetween Florida and there? (just going off your credit count). And La Ronde's Goliath isn't a hyper as it's only about 175 feet tall. So that's another reason I thought you were talking about SFoG. -

Are you talking about Goliath at Six Flags over Georgia?? Because the poster was asking about Goliath @ La Ronde in Montreal, Canada. -

Doubtful. There's just not enough room there. Maybe a spinning coaster could go there though. A hyper would most likely fit in the area of the park around IJ:ST,Minebuster, and Splash Works. Not to go too off topic though. As much as I'd like to see Steel Venom come here I don't see it happening. -

Yup. Cost to run a ride does include maintenance. Which a wooden coaster require alot of. Especially one that runs those nasty g-trains. But really I see this more of CF taking rides that could be more used elsewhere while they continue to evaluate what to do with GL. -

If they were removing rides based on cost to run then Villian would have gone before Steel Venom. -
Gears of War is a must by in my opinion. Though my warning about it is that it's a short game. It has 5 levels and can be completed in a night on the lowest skill setting. (I've done this). Though the higher skill settings get really intense, and will take much longer. Multiplayer is alright, though I'm not all that into it to be honest.

Not unless they start building roller coasters. IF MiA get's Steel Venom that would be only one more then they had before. Send it to Canadas Wonderland would give PCW 15 coasters to Cedar Point's 17. That would actually bring PCW equal with SFMM. -

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Steel Venom would fit really nicely in Canadas Wonderland. Maybe replacing Dragon Fire. Then again, that would purely be wishful thinking. MiA would be a more obvious choice as that park is in more need of rides. -

Remeber that TTD was a new technology that was being pushed twice as hard as had been attempted before. So no wonder that they had so much problems with it. Maverick is 1/4 the size of TTD, and is using much more established technology. So I wouldn't expect nearly as much problems as TTD did. Plus they are going to have alot more time to test it before opening with them building it so much earlier. -
Random feeling after Theme Park visit...
Carnage replied to Phixion's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually no it's not. You can't diagnose a medical condition over the internet with a few brief symptons. Medical avice along with legal advice is something that should only be dealt with in person. Edit: I just called my mother who's a nurse and told her your symptons. She said you could have a brain tumor and have days to live. Or I could just have made that up. But you go ahead and get your advice from a 13 year old who could just be playing Doogie Howser. His advice will be as acurate as mine. -
Well your questions aren't one's that every 360 owner could answer. So don't expect answers here in two days. You might need to dig around on other sites. Maybe Xbox Scene forums Not everyone has a nice HDTV, so not everyone will know the answer to your DVD question. Myself I have my Xbox360 still hooked up to a cheapo 27" inch TV. And the second question about Zephyr is purely speculation. So no one is going to be able to give you a firm answer on that.

The ride ops on the topspin at Chessington gave each row a full cup of water that we had to pass down the row. Made it near to the end of the row before the ride flipped covering the people in water.

My mother is a nurse. Doesn't mean I'd be dumb enough to give medical advice like it was my advice. Knowledge is not hereditary. Go see a doctor if you're worried about your symptoms, don't come to the internet to get advice from random kids that think they know anything. -
Something new about Disneyland
Carnage replied to Xtreme-me's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
And year long resorts don't have the luxury or a long off season to totally refurb their rides. A park like Disney or SFMM has to close major attractions while the park is open. There's no way around it. -
No it wouldn't. Liseberg would be on the Scandinavia trip.
