2006 Park Attendance Figures
Carnage replied to PKIDelirium's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Interesting report. Canada's Wonderland was again the top seasonal park. Just ahead of Cedar Point and Kings Island. -
I use firefox as well, though I find it has alot of trouble coming up with the word you're looking for. Very often I'll have to play with the spelling of the word to get the word I was going for to show up in the list.

Height Limit Horror Story

They could have used one of those sticks on the Mouse at Blackpool. -
It's just a spell checker. It won't correct grammar mistakes or plain stupid posts. Looks good so far. I'll use it at work where I have to use IE.

I think you're seeing things. All I see is dirt from the construction, and the white running lines that are built into the rails. You wouldn't be able to tell by looking at the track that the train had been testing. -
Alton Towers Coaster POV Video!

Just reminds me how awesome Nemesis is. I wish I could ride it again. Nice POVs Robb. You know for how accessible Air is I found it not photogenic at all. I don't know what it was about it, just seemed like I couldn't get many decent pics of it. Nemesis on the other hand you could stand anywhere and got awesome shots of it. -

From that angle it looks like they have been testing so they must have fixed this: How does that angle make it look like they've been testing? I see no train in the picture. If it has been testing and has rolled back that's no big deal. Rides roll back all the time, especially when brand new and in cold weather. Even Millenium Force won't clear the 2nd hill without water dummy's when it's cold. -
Height Limit Horror Story
Carnage replied to hbclarendon's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Where do you draw the line? Start letting on someone 1/2 inch too short, and it'll push it to 3/4 inch, and so on. Kind of defeats the purpose. Should someone get let off for drunk driving if they're only barely over the limit? -
Height Limit Horror Story
Carnage replied to hbclarendon's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd be surprised if this was an Intamin enforced limit. If it was we'd see these kind of height limits on their other t-bar coasters. I did get height checked on S:ROS at Darien Lake. The top of the test bar brushed through my hair, and they let me ride. I was probably as shocked as you were when I was stopped while entering the line. At 6'3"-6'4" I'm just not used to getting height checked on adult rides. -
It will work with the existing IDE cables in your computer.

Ok, gotcha.

Yes, that might be. But that's not my point. Take a crappy song, and give it to a crappy singer and it's still going to be bad. But if you take a crappy song and give it to someone talented, then they can sometimes make a decent song out of it.

You giver her way too much credit. There's no beats or "catchiness factor" because Alanis's music never has beats or "catchiness factor". All you said was that she took a successful song, took out what made it succesful, and what you have left is a peice of crap.

^ Or that your head explodes ala Dogma. The US can keep Alanis and Celine Dion. We don't want them back.

I'm six degrees removed from Kevin Bacon.

What's so brilliant about it? I thought it sucked. I couldn't even watch the whole thing.

Williams Grove Reopening!

I guess I'm somewhat sadistic in that I actually enjoy finding and riding brutal coasters like the WG Cyclone. (which I didn't get to ride). Maybe it comes from being desensitized? The big coasters don't scare me anymore. The only one's that really scare me are the one's where I think I may actually die on. -
Wow, you're complaining about having to get up at 10am?? I have to wake up at 6am every day to get to work. Suck it up.

Great pictures Dave. I've got to get down to Dollywood this year. -
Woodie Coaster seen on GTA4 PS3 trailer
Carnage replied to verticalzero's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yup, Liberty City. The common rumour is that GTAIV will at least partially take place in that city again. I'll be getting this for the Xbox360. -
Just worry about getting the coasters in. CP doesn't realy have much at all in terms of flat rides. Maxair, Skyhawk, and Power Tower are really the only non-coaster rides worth riding.
