If you take this advice just be sure you know exactly where you're going. You wouldn't be the first person to be running at the front of the pack, all of a suddenly realizing that you're all alone. If you don't know where to turn to get across that bridge you'll go right by it.

Well the park doesn't even open till just under 2 months from now. So they have plenty of time to complete it for the start of the season. The way they seem to be going now I'd say it'll be done well before opening day.

I'm not quite sure what the crowds will be like in July. But SFKK probably wouldn't take much longer than 2-4 hours to ride everything.

They're probably speeding up so much because of spring. It's a bit easier to build once the brutal winter fades away.

So what did they do to the guy? I assume shooting anything, pigeons or not in a big city is illegal? Or is it alright as long as you're a member of the NRA?

Technically if we're doing as the crow flys you'd be closer to Dragon Fire or Top Gun(depending on if you live south or north of the park. Tomb Raider is farther inside the park then TG and DF.

^^ Yeah, it really comes in handy. Takes like a couple minutes to resize a huge batch of pictures. Highlight the entire block and it does them all at once. ^ Picasa is kind of cool. However unless I've missed something it doesn't change the file itself. So any corrections made to a picture are only viewable in Picasa itself?

Try the WinXP power toy that I mentioned, or do you not have XP? Or try even opening it up in MS Paint and cut the size in half until the filesize is small enough.

If you are using Windows XP get the image resizer power toy. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx Then right click the file, choose resize images. Select a size like small or medium. That should shrink the files to a small enough size. Or you can use any photo editor to shring the image.

One of the coasters at PCW. Probably Ghoster Coaster. Or Mighty Canadian Minebuster if you count the turn around.

^ He already listed the amout of ram and processor speed in his first post. Which PCI slots are those cards in? If one of them is in the slot directly besides the AGP slot, then try moving it to a different slot. Or maybe even remove the sound card entirely if it's causing problems. Worth a shot at least. Edit: I googled smwdm.sys and it seems that's a sound card driver. Try un-installing and re-installing the sound card drivers. See if removing the driver and sound card fixes the problem at least.

One thing that might help is go to: control panel->system->advanced tab Under "start up and recovery" click settings. Uncheck "automatically restart". This might help you narrow down what is causing it. Instead of a black screen you should get the good old blue screen of death. It could be some sort of hardware conflict. What kind of hardware do you have in your computer? As in video cards, sound cards, network adapters,etc. Any expansion cards in the PCI slot directly besides the AGP video card? (assuming you don't have an on-board video card)

Wise choice making the trip 10 people Chris. I'm still not quite sure how we jammed 13 of us along with luggage for a week into that 15 passenger van on the East Coast Trek. These treks are alot of fun. It's a shame I can't make this one. Though if my schedule allows it I might try and meet up at some point. But it's a long distance to make that work.

^ Simple can be boring. As long as the turnaround has some speed it should be alright. Like if there's a good pop of air before turning sharply. But if it crawls through there it'll just be boring. Hopefully the trim is a somewhat good sign. If they need to slow it down after the turn around, hopefully that means that it'll come out of the turn around fast.

Might want to try rcdb.com. If you go to a listing for a park click the "parks nearby" link. Should give you a rough estimate of what's around. Just off the top of my head between the Dells and Holiday World you could go to Six Flags Great America, Indiana Beach, Beech Bend,etc.
