  1. I know you only want the button used for spam. But do you mind of it's used to report an offensive post, or say a POV request posted in the wrong spot, etc?
  2. ^ For some reason walking up and down hills though tires me out much faster. Like I have no problem walking around Cedar Point all day. But a tiny park like Mt. Olympus really killed my feet and legs.
  3. ^ I couldn't find the size of Canadas Wonderland on it's website, though it did list Splashworks as 20 acres. I want to say the park is somewhere around 200+ acres. But I'm not sure on the specifics.
  4. Maybe not big overall, though there are some areas of certain parks that might be too high or steep. Like at SFMM with the walk up to Ninja. Actually the only park I can think of so far is Marineland for being too big. Just because it's huge, but doesn't have anything.
  5. Taking into account inflation, about $50,000. Better start saving every allowance you get for the next few years.
  6. Cute is not a word I would use. Evil or creepy is more like it.
  7. The 2008 US trip is going to be a week long Wichita, Kansas trip.
  8. Have you ridden a Vekoma flyer? The B&Ms feel much more secure then those. The Vekoma restraints pretty much have you sagging into the restraint with your back fully off the seat back. I've never like the feel of the Vekoma's.
  9. I think this proves that the show doesn't deserve any praise. Terrorists could probably blow up LA eighteen times before Jack makes it from Santa Monica to Burbank. Not to get too off topic, but yeah I know what you mean. The show got kind of silly later on. Must suck to be a supporting actor on that show. They all get killed off.
  10. ^ If watching the TV show 24 taught me anything it's that Jack Bower can drive anywhere in LA within 20 minutes.
  11. Well as much as I wanted to go, I've had to drop out of the Spain trip. Just can't responsibly afford it. Even my best case estimates had me more or less charging the entire trip costs to a credit card. Visa and Mastercard have raped me enough. I'll have to look to 2008.
  12. ^ Actually tomorow is the night. Blog says thursday and today would be Wednesday.
  13. What? I didn't know there were old school pictures of DisneyWorld in this thread! Since when is Disney World considered the best coaster park? They do alot of things well, but I can think of many, many parks that have much better coaster lineups.
  14. ^ I have freinds teaching English in Korea. They refer to it as their own personal hell. The school treats them like crap. They pretty much are on a mission to get them to quit so that they don't have to fulfill their side of the contract. But my freinds refuse to quit and just keep fighting them. Now that might just be one bad school, but they've told me plenty of stories about how they are treated like total outcasts outside of the school.
  15. The text is a bit too small to read.
  16. That was my first master blaster. I thought it was alot of fun. Too bad the lifeguard wouldn't let Ted and I go together. Though we probably would have gotten been knocked out by the top of the tube in the double down had he let us.
  17. I work. I only know it's raining if it pours hard enough to hear it on the roof. I could look out the window, but our window just looks into another cubicle maze. I think I should legally change my name to Dilbert or Peter.
  18. Well, the good news is that I probably exagerated a bit. For the record I'm 6"4 190 pounds and I fit just fine. But I'd say I'm right on the line. I've had times where I've really had to yank the belt hard to get it. The problem is that the belts are diferent sizes, and they change the rules randomly about how much slack is required. So depending on your body type you may or may not have trouble getting the belt tightened. The problem with MF is that even if the lap bar fits fine, but the seatbelt does not then you don't ride.
  19. ^ Though too bad they're only putting them on sale once the season is over and they've finished hyping the crap out of their PCW only season pass.
  20. ^ I've read that Wicked Twister has had it's seat belts modified, making it much easier to ride for larger guests. Millenium Force has always been the problem ride. It can vary from seat to seat, and ride op to ride op. Even the time of the year which will affect how strict they are. It's to the point that if you're well over 6 feet, or in the range of 200 pounds that you should be considered a chance of getting kicked off.
  21. I would hope that humans have a higher mental capacity than a tiger or some other wild animal. I don't think we should be torturing any animals for fun. It's one thing to raise and eat a lobster. It's another thing to slowly dip it in a boiling vat of water and removing it for fun, watching it scream, and prolonging it's pain. As to the cockroach thing? I could really care less either way. But how is this different then what they do on fear factor or survivor? Hamsters eat their own young, does that mean we should eat our babies? Hamster are mammals, so why is it different for us to eat our young?
  22. ^ Sounds the same as here. You basically pass unless you break a law, or do something really stupid. My brother failed one of his tests because he hit one of those cardboard cutouts. Instructor told him he failed, so he kicked the guy out of his car and made him walk back.
  23. I'm not sure how the system works in the US, but in Canada you can still pass if the instructor thinks you're a good enough driver. I completely butchered my paralell parks on my two driving tests(there's two tests you have to do in Ontario). I still passed both tests easilly.
  24. ^ Yeah, I liked those. Took quite a bit to find a frame or two that were somewhat in focus.
  25. ^ Thanks Ryan. Flamingoland and Pleasurewood Hills are posted. Almost to the end of the TRs.
