Weird timing. I was just talking with some co-workers on friday about Erwin. I mentioned that I hadn't heard of him in quite awhile, and wondered if he was even still alive. Guess I was a bit early.

Let's see here ... prices are raised, and any extra value options are removed. Yup, sounds like crap to me. I doubt I'll be going to PCW next year. Well, unless I get a season pass at some other CF park. But PCW won't be getting money from me if they're going to do this.

But when I wake up tomorow, tomorow would have become today. So I can drink!!

^ Well it's not like it takes all that much time to whore the kiddy coasers at those 3 parks. Well, possibly the Dells, as you have to physically go to different parks. But CP and HW wouldn't take long at all to ride the 1 family coaster that each park has. (not counting Jr Gemini).

Funny that the people who can't detect sarcasm are the same one's to post "breaking news" hours or days after it's first posted.

Labour Day is a Canada/US holiday. It's the first monday in September. It's just a day off, and one last excuse to get drunk before Christmas. Ahh, yes and college football. The annoying highlights which get in the way of my hockey highlights.

Yup. Though the silver lining is that only Queenston/Lewiston had a backup when I checked. So hopefully at least one of the Niagara crossings will be decent. I'll just have to keep an eye on it and leave earlier if it's backed up.

It's probably not a leak. With a good portion of the ride completed, just about anyone could take a pretty good estimated guess and call it a "leak". All they're doing is filling in the gaps that aren't in place yet.

Hmm, I just realized that border crossings are going to be delayed due to the long weekend. I could be in for a bit of a pain. Please, please let the border not be as backed up Monday as it is right now:

I really don't see this ride breaking any records to do with inversions, height, speed, or length. "most of something" is probably going to be a Cedar Point hype term. Like most launch track at one park, most launch coasters at one park, most steel track at one park,etc etc. Every time CP builds a coaster they come up with a whole pile of dumb records that no one cares about.

Nothing big. MFI on monday. Though it's supposed to be Sunny and 70 degrees, so the park will probably be closed due to weather conditions.

Look, there's room enough. It's heading right over the jumping shark pond! That angle makes it a bit more clear. Though it still looks like they might have to move the line for white water canyon. At least to make room for construction equipment. Then again, weekend operation is only a few days away, so these details are going to become less of a problem then. Sorry, off topic again. Don't know how roller coaster construction keeps getting in the way of shark chat.

Interesting. It almost looks like they've run out of room at the end of the launch for now. (until the offseason when they can do some clever moving of wave swinger and white water canyon. Though then again, it's hard to get an exact scale and positioning from pictures.

^ That should have read "one trick pony". Or basically a ride that really only does one thing, like TTD.

^ There is supposed to be one as you exit the tunnel. But I'm not sure if it was ever actually used. Just like there was supposed to be fish tailing and vibrations as you go down the strairs.

Funny I never thougth the S:ROS's ever looked or felt like a kiddy coaster.

^ That's an optical illusion. Those two sections of track are much further away than that picture makes it seem.

^ Most likely because there wasn't room between the supports to fit the triangle track. So they had to go down to two rail track to clear the supports.
