^ Downloading is legal. Uploading is still illegal. It's because they've been charing levies on all forms of blank tapes for years. Basically they're charging "copyright" taxes on every blank media sold, regarldess of what the intended use is. The Canadian equiv of RIAA has tried to sue downloaders anyways. Except they've been basically fallen on their face and been laughed out of court. This really only covers downloading music for personal use. downloading something like movies is still illegal.

You're in Canada where it's legal to download music though. Part of the whole "let's assume everyone is using CDs/tapes to copyright so let's tax the crap out of them" law.

^ I just noticed that in the background of that pic is the curvy two rail track that I mentioned seeing in the webcam. It's on the trailer along with a couple sections of large track.

What website have you seen this new track on? The Cedar Point webcam. The two rail section I saw on the webcam this morning looks just like the track CP rules posted a pic of.

I don't think it has anything to do with an anouncement. It really must just come down to confusion between the parks and what kind of passes are going to be offered. Or possibly the simplest explenation is that they started getting bad feedback on the PCW only passes and decided to pull it back.

^ There is two rail track in the staging area. Plus this morning they trucked in a couple straight sections of track, along with a curving two rail track section to the project area. Didn't look like enough of a curve though. More like a transition to a brake run or something.

^ It's very possible that all the footers aren't poured. But I also think this is going to be a bit more modest coaster. No inversion record or anything. Cedar Point does not need to break any records to hype this thing. They will hype the crap out of this ride no matter how many records it does or doesn't break.

^ Take a closer look at some of the clearance's on those supports. Especially in the corkscrew. Still leaning towards a wing walker?

^^ True Robb. The first couple years were rough for TTD(2nd year a bit less though). Though at least it's shaken out of that rut and shown it can run. Ka still hasn't broken out of that rut, and until it does I wouldn't put it up with TTD.

Not too mention that at least TTD for the most part has turned into a somewhat reliable ride. Ka on the other hand can't seem to go a month before having some major breakdown.

Got sidetracked for a few weeks. Managed to get the Big Dipper ERT & Southpier done. Now I just gotta get enough time to do the Blackpool TR.

^ Or they could lose a minimal amount by those few peopel buying CF passes that will be valid for PCW. For instance with me, I could end up getting a Knotts pass, get all parks, and PCW gets nothing from me. (this is all assuming that PCW will not offer the hopper pass, which isn't exactly confirmed yet)

^ I assume IAD IAH and YEG are airport codes. I'm pretty sure I recognize YEG as Edmonton. So he's basically saying $404 for a flight to Edmonton to go to Galaxyland. Not that I can understand paying so much for that, but whatever.

^ Kind of like the rebate trick. Offer a rebate on a product knowing that most of the people that buy it will be too lazy to send the rebate in. I don't think I'll be really missing much if I don't get a pass next year(if this comes true).

"If it rolls and coasts" Well then some of us UKrs could also count the roller carts at Lightwater Valley as credits. I always just go by a case by case basis and make a judgement call. If ride XXX to me seems like a coaster then I count it, if not I don't. Simple. No real method to my madness.

^ I'd actually be curious as to how many PCW season pass holders in past years have used the pass at other Paramount parks. I'm guessing very few do. Possibly few enough that Cedar Fari sees fit to drop it entirely? Not that it makes THAT much sense.

^ Me too. If they go through with this the only way I'll have a season pass is if I buy it at Knotts. I actually sent them an email today asking about what was going on with this. Wonder what their response will be?
