^ You cand your switchbacks. From what I've seen so far the only switchbacks I can see would be for a dual loading station.

It ran the one time I've been to SFA back in 2004. At the time I didn't realize just how seldom it ran, and so didn't end up riding.

It actually kind of reminds me of a game of monopoly. Kind of like Six Flags is that dieing player who just landed on someone's property, and is now froced to mortgage and sell of whatever they can just to keep from going totaly bankrupt and losing the game.

^ It sounds more like that Six Flags is in such bad money position that they can't afford to open the parks now, regardless of what kind of income they are expecting. Like they could have figured out that they are not going to have cash to pay their employees if they open the parks. Regardless this news sounds like SF is in extremely bad shape. Not that it's any surprise.

I also heard mention of certain rides closing early at some of the parks, along with the early closing dates. Any links to a source that lists info for all the parks? Or is SFDL the only one specified yet? In particular I'm curious about La Ronde, as I'm working on tentative plasn to go to that park in the fall.

The common comment I keep seeing is that it's smaller then people think, unless there's more footers in a different area to come. There's definetly not enough there to prove some of those crazy rumours peope have been coming up with.

Maybe, maybe not. TTD had a webcam put up early on. Then the park realized what kind of buzz the ride was getting so they pushed the announcement back a few months.

Maybe it's due to the near by metric system pull. All the spinning mice in the UK sucked as well.

Cool Larry. I'm hoping for Labour Day as it's the last long weekend availble so that I can use that day off for traveling. If I can manage to stay with freinds in Ottawa I'll probably be there for sure.

I haven't ridden either. But I expect to have ridden both by the end of the season. Currently hoping for La Ronde labour day weekend, and SFoG Oct 1st.

I wouldn't worry about that. Of the 53 of us very few of us would be able to do all 3 trips. Some won't be able to do any trips. So really don't expect all 50 to snag all the spaces on any of these trips. And actually the midwest I'd guess will have the smallest UK turnout, just because alot of us have already gone to most of these parks. I actually did a midwest trip last yera, so really aren't considering this one. Spain is the only trip I can look at.

I don't think there was a single person who didn't say that PCW couldn't be better. But it's a business afterall, and if you expect the park to be run like CP or SFGAdv then you're going to be let down.

It's definetly not a clique. Going into the UK trip I only knew a handful of people. I ended up meeting and hanging out with much more then that. So don't worry about coming on a trip, everyone is super freindly. We can always use another Canadian.

I just figured Robb that you would probably want some time to yourself from time to time. Instead of having one large group follow you're every move. Though what I found was that every day I would go off with a slightly different group. With 50+ people on a trip it's good to try and get to know most of them. Each group I would hang out with would be fun in their own special way.
