^^^^^The height requirement for Demon at CGA is 48". Paramount actually had that height requirement in place before Cedar Fair took over. I'm actually surprised the Demon at SFGam is 42". Speaking of height requirements, how come Viper at SFMM has a 54" height requirement when compared to Vortex at KI which has a 48" requirement.

It's probably definitely less than 100 pph.

I believe the accident on The Edge was at Six Flags Great America.

I'm excited! It's gonna be nice to have a 1st generation freefall back in California. Oh, and Intamin drop towers, whether it be 1st or 2nd generations, are WAY better than S&S towers IMO.

I second that rumor. If that rumor is true, it seems like Cedar Fair is maybe testing out a ride rotation program similar to Six Flags, but on a smaller scale.

^^Around 11:30 the line for Club Blood stretched all the way past Celebration Swings. And just wait until next weekend. That is when the lines are going to be long.

FireFall reopened last night. But who knows how long that will last.

My top shows right now are: FlashForward (Hopefully this show sticks around because I really like it.) Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins (I've always liked these challenge shows.) Law and Order: SVU (This show is so awesome! I wish I had been following it sooner.) Grey's Anatomy (I've been following this show since it first started airing in 2005.) On a side note, one of my all time favorite shows was the mini-series Harper's Island.

FireFall is definitely having some issues this year. When it is running, it either opens late or is open sporadically throughout the day. It's pretty much a hit or miss this season.

Great pictures! I went to Knott's and SFMM this Summer. I was surprised when I went to Knott's because the operations at SFMM were so much better and the operators were very friendly. The operators at Knotts were very rude. Even this lady working at a sunglasses rack outside yelled at my friend for trying on 2 pairs of glasses saying, "You can't keep trying on glasses if your not going to buy any." I just don't understand what would compel somebody so be rude up front like the employees at Knott's. And with Xcelerator* being down, I have absolutely no desire do visit the park because the employees ruin whatever else the park has to offer. *This was the only ride I went on that had fun and polite operators.

It was pretty dead on Saturday. Friday was busier IMO. Partly because Saturday was really cold. It was about 50 degrees with 20 MPH winds which made it feel even worse.

I actually really liked the Sideshow. They were funny and the stuff they did was pretty intense.

I love the Toy Factory ending. I was so surprised. I don't want to give it away, but if your claustrophobic, good luck.

I want to say the lease ends in 2034, but not sure. I know it does end in the 2030's though. And CF did pick up the lease when the bought the park.

Yeah, before the concert started the park was very busy. And for you being only 9 and doing a Photo Report with out any spelling mistakes and using proper English, major points.

Looks like Cedar Fair's West Coast parks (Knotts and CGA) maintenance departments are going to be very busy this fall with Xcelerator and Invertigo.

^All 5 former Paramount parks announced that they will be adding Planet Snoopy next year. I'm just surprised KD and Carowinds are adding theirs for 2010 and not 2011.

WOW! I was just watching the news and SFDK was on because Roar was down with riders "stranded" for 25 minutes, and they didn't even evacuate! I can understand why Invertigo was on the news, but Roar?! There needs to be a mass murder, that will give them something to report about.

I was unfortunately at the park today. I got there after it happened and they had the entire back half of the park blocked off. Even rides that were far from Invertigo were closed because people could see what is going on.

The IMAX will never reopen. It is used for a Haunt maze, and also used for storage. Plus, the screen is gone. It is a complete mess in there.

I just went on it last week. Don't get me wrong, most of the ride is fun, it's the last half of the ride after the MCBB that totally kills it for me; it's to jerky. It's those damn shoulder harnesses that are too low on my shoulders. The worst part is the entry to the corkscrews. If it weren't for that, it would probably be on my "best" list.
