  1. It doesn't surprise me that the coaster they're getting is a Intamin because of the Tampa coaster and drop tower. Multi-ride deals is what they tend to do.
  2. SHENANIGANS! awesome episode of southpark and awesome video. I love Piers
  3. Overly fat people are the reason for this type of restraint on pretty much all new intamin coasters this side of the pond
  4. I heard the ride op that screams starship the whole time while in line for Silver Comet. I agree that while it was a nice park, only would return if I happen to be passing with nothing to do.
  5. My brother goes to collage in Niagara Falls NY and he moved into his dorm yesterday, so instead of sitting around bored in the dorms for couple of hours I decided to take a 4 hour solo trip to Martin's Fantasy Island. This being my first visit I knew only what I saw in TR from here so I didn't know what to expect. Overall it was pretty good. Short lines. The park was kinda ghetto though. No safety announcements, horribly hilarious shows (just from walking past them) no actual que, but it was still a very nice small park. Also ride ops and games workers were pretty awesome (Female one were beautifully hot) I most likely won't be back till any major additions are made, but it was a awesome afternoon. Near the Entrence If you ever get drunk and wake up with this on your hand, you were at Martin's This part of the park is really nice looking The recent rain has cause some puddles This area you can take out a canoe for free. Kinda cool. Almost to the big rides section... You can camp next door! Also some train track. Next to the slide now... For the Slide enthusiast Silver Comet! Michael Jackson the Ride, or should I say Starship 2000. HUGE surprise to me. Not going to ruin it, but wating from the outside I had no idea how epic it was. Also it plays Michael Jackson music non-stop. Inside Main Reason for my visit, Silver Comet. That's most of the ride, it's very compact. Nerd Shot Lift hill motor shed enthusiast rejoice They only have one train, but it's one colorful PTC train. I'm sure the TPR gays are planing the next meet-up to be here Going up... up... Some Coaster porn Some more coaster porn, also the ride is sponsored by Mountain Dew Large stat board Back to the Station This ride op kicked major ass! Jizz We need a lawn mower here Small crowds and awesome crew means one train waits all day, sometimes sitting on the train for over three rides. Silver Comet was pretty awesome, not as much airtime as I expected from some of the hills, but wasn't very rough. Only my third woodie ( you know what I mean) and a pretty good one. Still my favorite is Jack Rabbit at Sea Breeze, but this one still earns a thumbs up! STOP FEEDING PHIL I see star flyer... Martin's has their own space program This is my crack I Got It is a mix between bingo and Fascination. you threw one ball at a time onto a bingo grid and try to get 5 in a row. When you get 5 in a row you yell I GOT IT! and you win a coupon. If they have multiple winners you win free games. The coupons can be exchanged for wonderful crapped hand-picked by Martin himself. Pretty much all luck. I played like 10 games and didn't win once. You thought TPR had a lot of crap The "Bingo" grid An example of bad parenting, this adult(no idea is it was grandma, aunt, or parent) was trying to make a toddler play when she couldn't even reach the balls. She yelled at her when she couldn't reach them and make a big scene in the place. Lift-Hill Porn Back section of the park Blury picture of the Star Flyer. Was alright, not very tall. Maybe 100ft high. Also in the background the Crazy Mouse. The second coaster. Second wild mouse for me. One at Sea Breeze in Rochester, NY is WAY better. It does spin, the reports of zero spinning are lies. LIES I TELL YOU! Full tilt was more of a half tilt Full Tilt logo Log Flume logo, no pictures of the ride itself, but be warned, it looks small but packs a punch, a very watery punch view of the Silver Comet side of the mid-way (not the best use of this feature on my camera as it was my first time ever using it) So close to Canada you can see the S&S drop tower at Marineland from a lot of the rides (circled in red) Crazy Bus looked to Crazy so I skipped First Mega Disko for me, was pretty awesome. Liked of the seat were exactly the same as the Moto Coaster at Darien Lake And to leave you with some more of the awesome beauty of Martin's
  6. Northwest does have a park, a mediocre one, but still. http://rcdb.com/4690.htm
  7. While I'm a fan of roller coasters and rides and listen to 4 podcast a week I usually find myself only headed to the parks usually once a year, usually to just Darien Lake. Well This year so far not even thought (kinda upset I won't be able to go cus I got sick during the time I could buy tickets for $15 and it's kinda stuipd how much they normally charge, kinda sucks with the new Predator Trains and water park being added) Anyway not to drag the point along. My brother goes to college in Niagara Falls and on the way is Martin's Fantasy Island and I convinced my parents to have them drop me off for like 4 or 5 hours while they un-pack him. I've never been before but I am familiar with what's there. I know I want to hit up their woodie, Silver Comet, and the wild mouse, but other then that I don't know what is worth my time. As far as flats go the star-flyer looks sweet, but is their anything else that is better the getting extra laps on Silver Comet? I'm going on a Saturday (unfortunately) so I'm guessing it'll be crowed. What should I hit up and in what order? Also in general how do you get the most out of a short visit to the park? EDIT: turns out it's acutely Thursday. so crowds shouldn't be too horrible
  8. Because Legolands's hookers have std's, while the hookers at Thrope Park have free beer. Well that's what I'd like to think is the reason.
  9. lol, I love the reece videos. Next he'll ask for a buffet in the queue of volcano
  10. ^just saying, people noticed what they were doing and the lines I saw reflected that. Caus eif on a hot day they can't pack they park, then they have a problem
  11. ^I may be 15, but that doesn't mean anything. I do for a fact watch the news and there explanation of higher attendance of small parks is one theory. I think it's more of people hated being nickeled and dimed so they stop choosing the large park over Darien Lake. The drive really isn't far at all. an hour for the Rochester area and less for Buffalo is nothing. Also while Six Flags added some good rides like RoS and the vekoma clones, and also some flats you musta never been to the park in the last years of their operation. People were made about rising food and parking prices and everyone I knew was pretty much choosing not to go because of that. I went on a Sunny Friday in June for crying out loud and RoS was walk-on. You may think I know nothing because I'm 15, but I know more then you think.
  12. ^I'd prefur them to put up a nice drop tower, but the coaster would be nice
  13. No, you think that it didn't make a difference who owned the park, and I know for a fact that the people do care because they pretty much hated six flags the last few years of their operation. Now they're very busy.
  14. some might say for the themed stand-up that they were supposed to get
  15. I'd like to see it, would it be good? most likely not. A good laugh? for sure!
  16. all I am wondering now is will coasterradio.com bring on Mark to say his good byes...
