Thanks Smisty. Dad is out of hospital and Mom had insane surgery Tues night into Wed morning but so far so good. And yes very happy with all the penguin items! No problem. It's never fun to have family in the hospital, especially around the holidays. I hope your family is well and has a lovely holiday.

You should try being on stage at least once! I've worked all aspects from props to stage manager, lights, mics, costumes, etc. But I love being on stage the most. I was super shy all through school, so my senior year my choir director talked me into auditioning for a musical, and theatre became my outlet to open up and I never looked back. I was hooked. I tried out for one musical and I didn't get the part. So I stuck to what I do best, make the show run.

I would LOVE to do My Fair Lady or Guys and Dolls. I want to play Adelaide so bad! My husband was in The Sound of Music back in 2002; he played some small part, a German something or other. But he had a scene where he was alone on stage with this really strange, kind of not-right in the head man (literally), and Von Trapp was supposed to come in an interrupt them but he had a costume malfunction and didn't make it on stage in time. So Danny starts ad-libbing about Nazi Germany, blah, blah, blah, and instead of going along with it the crazy man stands up and literally GROWLS at Danny! It was hysterical! I've never acted on stage. I was usually a prop runner, asm or stage manager. I haven't found a theatre to work at here though. In Texas I was an intern for the community theatre. I built and painted the sets. I really miss it.

I agree that its complicated. I've watched it with him a couple of times and my head hurts afterwards. I'm glad I'm not alone.

I'm happy because work is requiring that I'm off for 11 days and 7 of the 11 are paid. Yay!!!

I would live in hotels and travel the world.

I had to go with Hypers. Love the air time and lap bars. My next pick would be tied with sit down and inverted. Dive machine is okay, I can take it or leave it. Not really a fan of stand up or flying.
