I would have said that on my first visit, but this last visit after their little modification I sure hope they won't do this. The pure insanity (^^^My shirt was coming off too!) of this ride would go down if you are enclosed in OTSR. I didn't feel any pain on Monday, it did feel a little tight but I feel that anytime an operator staples me in other restraints. If they make more modifications over the offseaon I sure wish they will stick with the openness of these restraints that are on there right now.

I went to the park for my second visit of the year Monday. The first visit was before the "temporary" fix of the restraints which did kill my thighs. This visit Monday I had no issue whatsoever with the restraints. The softer padding they put on seemed to work fine with me. I rode three times in the middle seat and one wing seat (prior visit was all wing).

For all new systems, there comes fine tuning and it seems Kings Dominion has changed Fast Lane again and in a very good way. I can't say nothing about the limit of rides on Volcano (I can assume it is now unlimited like the rest of the rides, though). You may now wait for the front as the Fast Lane is no longer through the exit, it now merges with the line. I was there last night and they now have Fast Lane through the gift shop and to the left of the exit is stairs to the main queue, you walk by the lifeguard chair and before you enter the Volcano there is now an employee holding the main line. And by doing this they are now only allowing around 20-25 people in at a time so you no longer have to be in that congested ramp!

^ Fast Pass would definitely help if you are there for only one day and that day is Saturday. You may be in luck though as the temperature right now for Saturday is forecasted at 104 degrees and the heat index will probably make it feel like 110 so that actually may keep the crowds away from the dry side of the park and into the waterpark. But of course Volcano would have a line no matter what.

I may just have to come to this. Missouri+Leviathon+East Coast Bash+Deep South Bash in three weeks. That sounds like a good plan

I stayed there in 2009 and it was worth the money.

During our dinner at KD, Gene sure made it sound like that is exactly what he would be doing next year.

A big thanks to Give Kids the World and Cedar Fair for putting this event on. I am still amazed of how much money everyone involved with it raised an am proud to be a member of Team TPR! With all the riding, free food, being on Dominator's lift hill for 40 minutes and spending the day with some great people it was an awesome day!

I was there this past Saturday and on Great Bear they wouldn't even open the loading gates until the other train came back and sat on the brake run for a couple seconds. Then they finally let everyone on and they tripled checked every restraint while walking slow and this repeated everytime. The park was empty for a Saturday and that should have been a 15 minute wait but it turned into 30 thanks to them.

10:20 on a Saturday and maintenance has just did their first test run for skyrush...nice

While I agree the Celtics have a great chance of beating the Heat I don't think either one will stand a chance against the Spurs/Thunder.

^ You can buy them when you get there if you want. Several gift shops sell them and there is one right when you enter the park.

^ That is why I am holding off any judgement until I ride it again this weekend just in case they did have some of the effects off in the building this past weekend due to the soft opening.

It is open today. In line for my second ride and right now it is about a 30-40 minute wait at the moment.

^ That is a tad bit too much overestimating. If you are going to the park from that Sunday June 10 to Friday June 15 you should be fine even without a quick queue. You will probably only see lines during the peak time of the afternoon other than that it should be station waits except for Verbolten which will probably have a line all day since it is new. Not counting the addition of Verbolten, if you wanted to marathon the others and you are there right at 10 when they open the 3 B&M's you could easily marathon ride if you want. I've easily got 10 rides in an hour a few times then just chill the rest of the day. And the most important factor of the week you are going, school is still going on. That will definitely keep the crowds down.

I took my friends kids last summer hoping they would ride it so I could get the credit but that didn't happen Anyways, nice reports so far.
