If you are there all day you should be safe to ride everything, especially all of the coasters. I went near the end of June last year on a Saturday and got there at opening. For the first 2 hours everything except Superman and Dark Knight was basically a walk on.

People will come up with ANYTHING now a days. Wherever it was that you heard this, you need to laugh in their face. I like small boys in tights. It's like saying the next great astroid with come blazing through and destroy everything. And I don't see them "slowly shutting down construction". There's still work being done on the station and the bottom of the lift. Why waste the effort if you're not going to get it all done? I took his post as sarcasm. I figured he made it up himself. I still have little hope that this will be ready to ride when I am down there the week of June 22.

That is some great pictures. I can't wait until the end of June when I get to visit Orlando for the first time.

You listed the parks with the best coasters in your original post, so I would say you answered your own question. However, if you prefer wood coasters then Holiday World would seem to be a place to go. I haven't been there yet (Will on June 6), but Voyage seems to rank high on everybody's list. And Knoebels has my favorite wood coaster Phoenix. Robb, I was going by his term "coaster trip" in my response. I took that as he wants to ride coasters mainly.

Well if you have the money for a few parks, you can try out this route. You were kind of going close to these anyway. I put them in order in which you could go. 1. Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom 1A. Holiday World (These two can be done in one day) 2. Kings Island 3. Cedar Point 4. Kennywood 5. Hershey 6. Knoebels 6A. Dorney (If done right both can be done in one day) 7. Six Flags Great Adventure 8. Coney Island

I have another question about this topic. When you are staying on site do you get the extra hour in the morning on the day that you check in? Or is the extra hour good for the next day?

I am planning a trip in June for either one of two weeks. Either from June 8-12 or June 22-26. I know the latest would be the safest bet for this coaster to be open but does anyone have any information on an estimated opening? The week of the 8th would be cheaper for me to go from rates I have seen. I have read the thread and the last thing was around Memorial Day but they have yet to finish the track so I assume it will be later. Thanks.
