I went to KI last year in July on a Saturday and CP on Sunday and got all the coasters in fine. I was also there from opening until close, but if you plan on other things you might run into trouble. I was able to get in some flats, and even the skateboarding show at CP. At KI: Invertigo, Firehawk and Son of Beast will have the slowest lines. It will be best to get those done first. Invertigo and Son of Beast are in the same area. You might as well knock out Flight Deck while you are there as it should be a walk on in the morning. At CP: I would use everyones advice to start in the back, with Maverick, Millennium Force and Magnum. When I was there Top Thrill and Raptor had the shortest lines in the afternoon. Can't remember exactly when, but I am thinking around 2-4. As for food I am no help as I get whatever I feel like at the time which could be anything. I know at CP they have a restaurant type place near Blue Streak. I think its themed like a sports bar? (I'm not sure) I am actually going back this year at the same time you are, except I am going to KI on Sunday (June 7) and CP on Monday. I will be at Holiday World on Saturday.

Thats why I was looking there first was because it gives back more.

I was looking at Best Buy because of this site that gives you a percentage back from your purchase to use toward your student loan. Best Buy gives 2%. Amazon only gives 1% but that is too much savings to pass up, so I will go with Amazon.

I am at a standstill between two digital cameras on which one I should buy. The choices are a 10 MP Canon and a 12.1 MP Sony. They are both the same price and have similar qualities. The only major difference is the 2 mexapixels. I have always heard that Canon always has good quality in pictures. Never under estimate Ray Allen. I still remember him hitting that 3 at the end of the game against my Bobcats last year. He can always step up when needed.

Wanted to see what everybody's plans for trips this summer are. So far I have two trips in June planned: From June 6 - 9 I will be hitting SFKK, Holiday World, Kings Island and Cedar Point. SFKK and Holiday World will be new parks for me. June 20-26 I will be hitting the Orlando parks, including Tampa for Busch Gardens. All of these will be new to me. If I can add a couple of days I will be hitting Six Flags over Georgia. And after that I should have a free hotel night from my Wyndham points, I am going to try to hit Great Adventure again this summer. I searched and didn't see this posted. So, where are y'all headed to this summer?

I'm about 15-20 minutes from Kings Dominion and about an hour from Busch Gardens. I usually go to KD 2-3 times a summer. I make it to Busch Gardens about 4-5 times.

According to the website from 5pm to 10. You might want to hit Invertigo first also as it could get a long line.

I usually don't watch the trailers anyway. More of a shock factor when you're watching an episode you have seen nothing about.

Speaking of the loading time, I think you were there the same day I was (April 5th). Each train had a row taped off and made the line go even slower. I think one train had the front taped off and the 4th or 5th row on the other. I wonder if they have fixed that problem?

Yes! I, for one, love the Shockwave! If anyrides at KD are to be removed it should be Anaconda or Hurler! Now THOSE are back-breaking rides. Shockwave was the roughest I encountered last week when I went. I didn't want to go near it after. For some reason I don't remember it being that rough last year, so maybe I just got unlucky last week.

That actually makes since Robb. I have only been to Knoebels once and that was on a ticket day, I have never seen ride ops move as quick as they did. It would make since that they would take there time when it doesn't matter. I would agree with everyone to try and add Busch Gardens to the list. I did a quick mapquest check and instead of going straight from Great Adventure to Dollywood and stopping in Williamsburg would around 170 miles. So I guess it depends if you want that extra driving.

Busch Gardens Europe on Memorial Day. I went there forgetting that it was a holiday. I didn't realize it until I got there, but it ended up not being as packed as I would have thought.

For all we know now, they could just be finishing off the station and everything else before the lift and that this isn't a delay.
