15/24 not that bad

I had many good times I can't single out one but the TPR Italy and Leviathon trips were awesome and the coasting for kids event at Kings Dominion was a great day. Oh and even though it technically wasn't my last park visit of the season but it was my last non-home park visit of the season, ending the night with 10 rides in a row on El Toro was a great way to close out the year, and being with an awesome person too

^ Yeah, they are only on weekend operations after Labor Day, same with SFOG I believe.

^ Unless something strange happens not really. If it was your first time at the park and you wanted all rides and mazes then definitely since they are only open 7pm to midnight on Fridays.

^^ On a Saturday night it might be hard to hit all of the mazes. But the mazes are open from 6 to midnight so you have plenty of time. I would just make sure to be one of the first in line at one when they first open. ^ My problem with No Vacancy is that it is way too light inside. They were zero percent chance of anyone scaring me because I saw everything.

FYI on debit cards with rentals, most companies will place a $100-$200 hold on it until you return the car.

Never ever pay attention of what is said on Facebook. Over 50% of comments on most park's pages should be deleted. I think the park realizes not to pay most of the comments any attention. People like to vent without actually thinking before hand and that leads to crazy and useless comments.

I will clarify my post a little bit. If you are in marketing and you are trying to advertise something, which option would you choose? Option 1: We are breaking a record by opening up the biggest Peanuts children's area Option 2: We are expanding the kids area.

^^^ & ^^ Why shouldn't they hype it up just because it wasn't a record for a new coaster? It would make NO sense not to advertise it just because it wasn't a thrill ride. None whatsoever. It is a new record and they should advertise it that way. For the last time roller coasters are the not the only thing a park has, people need to get that through their minds for once. I will congatulate KD not only for expanding the kids area, but for the good marketing leading up to.

I attended the passholder appreciation event today which was pretty uneventful. They announced everything that was posted a page back about howl-o-scream and gave a little preview of Night Beats which looks like it will be a good show to watch. They did announce two things announced that I like. First, they are expanding Christmas Town into Festa Italia and now have 8 million lights total. Second and my favorite, they are hosting a Food & Wine festival in the spring. They didn't announce the dates yet though.
