2006 Hersheypark Rumor
Gnome replied to Hercules's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
when they say something like, "We're keeping you in the DARK til...." it usually means that one of those words apply to something about something else, so I'm guessing they're saying they're going to put in a topple tower...... -
RETRO Photo TR: Knott's circa 1987 & 1991

^ although it didn't feel the best, that whole area was just simply amazing, and looking at the helix, and everything was just so good. All the detail they put into it, it just made you feel like they wanted it to be successful, and aside from the head banging, it was kinda cool, in particular the loop. -
rumor sfmw's 2006 line up
Gnome replied to zongaboy626's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ yeah, there's another batman clone a days drive away from SFMW (and a lot of people have been to SFMM who go to SFMW, or so it seemed the day I was there) so putting in one of those would be stupid, plus Kong is the only SLC in California, and its rather fun, I think. But some of you people are picky and will say otherwise. But who knows what it'll get, but how long would it take to rip down Zonga? -

I remember all those rides! Except for the corkscrew as that was ripped out around the time I was born (but if you ever hit up SilverWood, you can visit it, again, or for your first time!). But man, that dolphin show was awsome, but then they went all trippy and had that funky thing with that character with the cone shaped nose (anybody remember what I'm talking about) and the boardwalk was totally different then. Its amazing how many changes knotts has really been through. The place that has stayed the same the most (at least that I can remember) is camp snoopy, but even that has changed.. -
well, I've only ridden in the front, and if they fix its problems, and its capacity problem (statistically it has ok capacity, but the way its set up, it runs slow) then you'd have a pretty good ride. It has some nice air time in the front, and the drop is amazing, of course, it is no intamin with its amazing ride time and history of smashing into other trains, or throwing people out of the train.

SeaWorld Orlando (SWO) Discussion Thread

Well if she won't look out for the gnomes, who will? -
here's mine. $10.00 for crappy park food. Having people in line in front of me. Slow loading staff. Line Jumpers. People smoking in non designated zones. People who won't let you take secured loose articles onto the ride.

Gnome replied to Crazy4Coasters!'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!

California Screaming is one of the best coasters in California, I'd hate to see it down that long! -
Which Coaster Gives The Best AIRTIME???
Gnome replied to Crazy4Coasters!'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
so like which has more Air time, Expedition GeForce or S:ROS? From seeing both POV's S:ROS looks like it has a couple of hills more, but EGF looks like those last hills are intense, and they just hit you one after another, like bam bam bam, where as S:ROS's is more like bam...bam...bam. -
What's your favourite part of the ride.
Gnome replied to mark.w's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
well, my favorite part is where you fly out of your seat. Same experience every time, never gets dull. -

who manufactured the Eurostar? RCDB doesn't have anything on it. -
How did you end up here???
Gnome replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well...... I remember I first found your site when I was looking for a POV of Pyrenees, only to find that you had to buy the DVD to see the full POV so then I forgot about the site. Then I refound it again while searching for Ghost Rider Pics, and then after that time, the site stuck in my head. But I never joined because I felt I was to busy to be active on a site and didn't want to register. Then about a year or so later(how ever long its been), I finally joined as a member. And now I'm here, almost a month old! . -
yeah they need to do something about the capacity. It gets a decent capacity, but because only 2 people per each side get on per train, thats where the long waiting game is mostly a factor. So for future designs (hopefully they'll build more in the future) they'll need to fix the seats to where 4 people in one que can get on the train, instead of just 2 from each side. But, the last time I was scared of a roller coaster was when I was a wee lil` lad. I used to be deathly afraid of montezooma'z luanch, after my first ride on it, I dont' think I went back on it for like a year, or 2. The funny thing about it now, though, is because I'm so used to Xcelerator's launch, Montezooma's launch doesn't have as much fun factor as it did in the old days of pre-Xcel.

Expedition GeForce in RCT3 Wild!

yeah, they did, but I hope they fix that line cramming problem. I like to see more of my line used than just the first 2 segments. -
Name Of New Coaster at SFMM
Gnome replied to coastercraze2005's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
after this ride is finished, I'd like to see that, as well as their crummy rides being fixed or replaced (wooden coasters, flash back, most of thier flat rides.
