Coaster Question Game
themeparkman25 replied to triggernel's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Isn't it just pokepark? -
Great update, it was awesome seeing all of the ride from inside the construction area and up close and personal with the ride. The first half of the ride is such a twisted section of steel and then after the MCBR just looks fun. I feel a little dissapointed that it won't be a true wing dip, but it will still be a cool section. Now I cannot wait til the trains are reveiled, that will be "aha" moment for the entire ride.

Yes! And they are all currently running. You think a park of that size would have more than 4 looping coasters wouldn't you? -

Of all thirty roller coasters currently or formerly at Cedar Point, how many have had inversions? -
Coaster Question Game

^I am almost positive its Furius Baco. If I remember right, Baco does 80 mph out of the launch, whereas Desert Race and Kanonen do 60mph and 50mph, respectively. -
Sweet video, thanks for posting this! I thought it really emphasized the off ride experience and how magnificent it will, but it also really emphasized the "wing drag" of the ray. As soon as the boy is riding the ray, its doing swoops on the surface and the bottom of the ocean and,of course, when the track starts appearing. This leads me to believe that the "splashdown", whether created by the car or a cannon, will be one of the main focuses of the entire ride. Further, notice that when the track and supports started appearing they were pretty realistic to that of real life, which, Im making conclusions again, that the video must be pretty accurate in showing the coaster. So when the train is on the track and it has those massive wings, perhaps they will actually be huge. From the first artwork released to this video they emphasized the size of the manta on the car, which would reach the concrete valley currently in place. Thats just my two cents, and maybe Im just not willing to accept that it might not be a true splashdown.

Uh, sounds like Swollen Members -Pressure, in which case I would be so stoked. Prevail sings it. http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Pressure-lyrics-Swollen-Members/707866EF9ADA07A24825721900208B89 But Batman is my choice, final answer. -

^Yes, I know they are separate companies but I was just trying to hint that this is not the first time we've talked about a Sheikra clone. -

I decided it would be best to commemorate the 42nd president of the United States of America by retheming the park to George W Bush. Anyone recognize that banner hanging above the entry gate? Hope this doesn't make to many people upset haha. Also, thanks Johnny UpsideDown for the image. Recognize that banner from a certain speech about a certain war? -

^Hmm, interesting. I would hope that they would change things up and get a new layout but like you said, Sheikra is great so why change it? One point I want to bring up though is that the pictures of the dive coaster at Chimelong were also of SheiKra, yet that turned out to be pretty different. So maybe Sheikra is just the poster child of the dive machine and its just used to get all the roller coasters junkies talking! Photo is from RCDB. This sign clearly has pictures of Sheikra on it yet Dive Coaster came out different. -

I agree with a lot of people saying that the colors are used a lot, cause they really are, but it brightens up that part of the park and makes it look friendlier. Before, it looked kind of decadent and almost rustic and now it really looks brighter and more open. I like it -
^Duely noted.

Im not that bad, I tend to use fragments a lot but thats all.

^Where is the thread for that dive machine? I want to talk about that. Is there anything known about this ride right now? Height, immelmans, splashdown? Is it a copy of a layout already built? I want to know more! -
Are we in Inglewood? Compton actually. I was listening to dirty rap and they said e'erbody. so I said it

In the case of Sheikra, Griffon, etc how does the evac cart even work when you have a floorless coaster? Really how does any of it work with a floorless coaster? -
[NL] Ghost Train
themeparkman25 replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
DBru, this truly is a spectacular piece of coaster you have. I enjoyed all the massively banked turns and the flow from one to the next, it carried it speed well for the most part too which added to its appeal. Besides the flow and the turns of the ride, I really liked the floater hills. The one thing this ride missed I thought was the supports on the banked turns, when it was almost sideways the tracked just looked goofy the way it was, but I know you cant fix that so I wont hold it against you. Great ride, keep it up. -
The nfl laid to rest all controversies in the super bowl. In this video they talk about the controversial final fumble, the 100 int return, roughing the holder, and surprisingly santanio holmes penalty after his sensational catch. check it out, its clears everything up. http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80e8fa89
