Sorry for digging up a dead thread, but in the process of looking for some Manta train videos I stumbled across this video. The video, though not a video from Sea World, is a video produced by local station Channel 9 in Orlando. The video mentions a couple interesting bits of information- -Profits for parent company, InBev, are down 95% in the 4th quarter. -InBev now has to sell $7 billion worth in assets to make up for the losses -Correct me if I am wrong, but in the merger agreement between the two companies, InBev spoke of closing/selling all assets not central to the business which pretty much hinted the parks. -Profits dropped significantly due to the merger between the companies. I expect we see significant changes in the company in the coming days and months as stocks continue to do poorly, profits are diminishing and consumer confidence continues to tank. I hope PETA doesn't get their hands on any of the parks, that would ruin everything! But I really can't think of many companies or lenders that would be willing to ship that much money out to buy assets as long distance vacations are being replaced with shorter, cheaper ones. EDIT: I looked into the current situation a little further...watched another video...and found out that InBev operations told park employees this week that the park(s) will not be sold this year partly because they cannot find a buyer for them. Now don't get me wrong, the official sale of the parks has not been announced, but it has been hinted by many experts. The disappointing part is that the billions in debt that InBev has accumulated over the previous months is largely in part because of the merger. Lets just hope it doesn't change the atmosphere and spectacular work of art these parks are! This new video can be found at this link.

As if I haven't had enough learning for a regular day, this was a great find and really enjoyable to glance over! I can't wait to read it all later! It is crazy how things have changed with time, and yet how the midway still feels similar today. Great find again!

I was talking about this earlier on the Diamondback thread, and the consensus over there was that they do do pull throughs. B&M does pull throughs. That entire discussion can be found on page 89 of that thread.

^When was the pull through? Or do they not have to because they have that plastic reach envelope to test (Or the wood one over on HRRR)?

Sunday is the big day for the pull through? Did sentinel have any other pictures of the work site, its been awhile since anyone has posted pictures? Looks great though, I have to say that I think those trains have to be some of the better looking ones made. The zero car looks fantastic and all the little rays add a great feel! Sea World has done excellently with this coaster!

Even if it is not something you would normally see, that adds a lot to the originality, but hopefully the g's will be in the green for it, I can see them being off because of the nature of it.

What does everyone think about the recent events happening in the NFL? -The Senior Bowl -The Combine -Free Agency -The Draft -Post season training How is everyone's team shaping up? Any big additions or subtractions? Or branch way out and make a prediction of who will win super bowl XLIV! I think that the Bronco's have done a nice job in free agency picking up some good players for our otherwise failing defense. Dawkins and Hill are nice additions to Bailey and to have Gafney in for (suspended) Marshall is reassuring. And Buckhalter and Arrington will add a nice touch to special teams and the offensive backfield. But I am really beginning to not like the head coach change in Josh McDaniels, I think the wiser decision would have been to release Shanahan from the GM position and let him just be head coach, cause at this point McDaniels has created quite the debacle with qb Cutler.

Remarkable! The facade on the observation tower is fantastic! And I bet I could guess what kind of coaster haha!

Why can't you ride single?

How is this ride going to effect the structural integrity of the building? Is there going to be some internal reconstruction to better support the walls and rood? Was there anything even in the building before?

Kirnu and Inferno really pop a nice punch on their last little "hill" right before the brake run. I am hoping that because this ride has multiple hills like the ones on the aforementioned coasters, they will have a lot more spinning of the trains. Does anyone know if it spins dependent on weight placement in the train?

From the pictures you have posted you can get a feel of the layout and from what I can see I like it! The inversion after the loop looks fantastic and the tilt loop after looks awesome. Can't wait for the download!
