  1. Well, my concern is not so much with rushing the project compared to possibly getting a bad grade in a class. Though it would be awesome if this was my career, I have to focus more on school so I can actually get a quality job. At least that is my thought process. On a side note, I have four more semesters after this and have figured out a way to do the Disney College Program while still graduating on time while maintaining an average course load. Pretty pumped about it.

  3. Ha, I was just waiting for someone to notice that there hasn't been an update on this project in nearly 3 months. Unfortunately with my current class load (Accounting, Marketing, Management, Operation Systems and Money and Banking Systems) I have put the project on a little hiatus. I literally am up until this time every night studying, and then I am cashed and just can't fathom melting pieces. So I would not expect another update until summer time, when I plan to go all out on the project. I plan on being in Orlando over thanksgiving of this year, and (fingers crossed) I would love to give it to the park to put on display then. So look for a huge amount of work on it over the summer and into next year as I have given myself a deadline to finish of Thanksgiving. Thanks for your interest though, maybe I can do a piece of two over spring break? eh? Jordan
  4. ^Well played. Doesn't change the fact that the older models look pretty cool though.
  5. ^Cool. Thanks for your replies! It is awesome you build the entire track in Newton and just export it to NL from there. One question though, how do you export from Newton to NL? I assume that one it is inside NL editor you can do anything to the track, including supporting it, right?
  6. summitcountyvoice.com/2010/03/12/breckenridge-alpine-coaster-ride-proposed-for-peak-8/ Though I have never ridden Vail's alpine coaster or Glenwood Cavern's, I do believe it is similar to those two. The planned location is towards the beginner-ish side of the mountain and is at the top of the new Gondola and new Hotel. Should it be built, this is a great location as the two lifts coming out of this base always have amazing lines. Another article can be found on The Denver Post
  7. Does the Intamin Free Fall ride work like the real life model? That one looks VERY cool and I (probably everyone else too) would love to see a video of it working! Keep up the great work! You have done some very imaginative and creative things with K'nex.
  8. When you are designing a coaster, what is the sequence in which you do the following. -Build the track in NL -Newton for forces -AHG After looking at the Red Dragon coaster, I have becoming inspired to start doing NL again but want to do it perfectly this time. I have used AHG a little, but not extensively and have just started watching the tutorials about Newton 2 over on youtube. I have a couple questions, maybe you can help? -Again, what order do you use all the tools? -Is it necessary to use AHG and Newton together? -Should I consider using Elementary too? -How do you go from a NL track to a Newton file and back again? Thanks! Edit: More questions! -What is the difference between Euler and Quaternion?
  9. I definitely can say that it is a pleasure to see another NL coaster posted in this forum. Seems like RCT(3) had taken over recently and NL has taken a back seat, which of course is lame. Coaster looks great so far, and seems to be a great combination of the best of B&M. Keep up the great work, I will definitely be following this one.
  10. After a hefty two weeks of midterms, interim project due dates and a bunch of general stuff, I am back on TPR. It has been like 4 days since I have checked here, making my life rather irksome and bland.

  12. Creditcrazy- Definitely interested in the SFKK and Carowinds maps. Please look over my list here, and let me know if you are interested in anything. I know it is a little old, but not much has changed since then. I have SFMM, USH and Adventuredome since that time. PM me if you would like, but I definitely want to trade for SFKK and Carowinds.
