  1. At school I am doing the topic "How Build a Roller Coaster" and have decided to use RCT2 to build one with complete theming, supports, and a real life environment. So far I have completed the layout, which I am quite satisfied with and have nearly finished the supports. Here are some pics of what I have done so far. Any comments/criticism that you have will help me a lot. Station, everything around the station is incomplete. Quite pleased with how this turned out... Need some help supporting this. Any pics of rides with large loops will help a lot. Need help with this as well. (Same as above) Have some idea about the barrel roll, but not the corkscrews. What I've done so far.
  2. ^&^^ You need the version 1.21 it's the only 8 cars that can merge I think. You can find a download of all 8 cars trainers on pg 13 of this thread.
  3. ^The only problem I have with you using Arrow trains on B&M track is that the trains won't be connected to the overbanked turns that you have built. I would suggest changing them to straight track so the train is actually connected to the track. Looks very nice BTW. If you still want, I would be happy to merge the loop on for you, as I have done the same thing in "Chesterfield Amusement Park" (Just do a search for it) when I merged a large loop on to a woodie. NOTE: There is a link in the RCT2 Help Thread to a website that tells you exactly how to merge a coaster. I think it's on page 4 or somewhere early on.
  4. ^^^Is that a preview of what I think it is...

  7. ^No Do you think that Six Flags Enthuseast is wrong about the colour of the sky?
  8. ^I've got his park, and to be honest it looks quite empty, only the stuff he has posted and another un-themed coaster. So, really not worth all the hassle to get the objects.
  9. ^I know exactly what you are talking about with the Troika ride, and I know I have one in my objdata folder, I just can't remember what it was called. Do you know what the objdata name is, then I'll be able to post a download of the ride. EDIT: Just joined the Object List, so I will get back to you ASAP.
  10. Does anyone know why some coaster cars don't go down vertically on the track? I know it's part of the game-code, but why didn't ATARI/Chris Sawyer/The makers of RCT2, have all coaster trains able to go up or down vertical or go through inversions? And, mainly to all the NE members, is there any way to combat this?
  11. ^ My money is on a surfing hypercoaster lol.
  12. If you don't LOVE the Big Bang Theory, turn away now. Anyway, I have been watching the Big Bang Theory since season 1, but because I'm an Aussie, we're a little bit behind the 8 ball...BUT, I have been keeping up-to-date and I don't think I've ever missed an episode! Hence the reason that I am making this thread, to find out what YOU think of the show. So, if you're like me, please post your opinions, reviews of certain episodes, favourite quotes, or even post a video of your favourite episode here.

  14. Just got a day off school because of Science and Engineering Comp!
  15. No but I will strive to achieve such an exciting goal... Have you ever been amazed by something that everyone else thought was "normal"?
  16. Also, what come before that is my tribute park set to Steve Franks and his Real World track packs he's ever-so-known well for. So look forward to that first, when I finish them. I look forward to it!
  17. OMG, Millenium Palms is the best name EVER, lol! Dungeon Disaster is a cool looking ride, nice theming. To be honest, I think that Dreamclaw is way too big! Either start again or tweak the layout so it is a bit shorter. It really ruins the entire atmosphere at its current size and the colours make it stick out like a sore thumb. I know it may sound a little harsh, but it is obvious that you have great potential, you just need to try to steer away from incredibly unrealistic rides and coasters and start steering towards some of those more realistic themes and layouts.
  18. Ummm, nice forest... Individual coaster theming looks nice, but I think the park would look even better if you have more themed areas rather than a huge forest. Look at some of dmaxsba and BRTellers work as they are very good at making seperate themes for areas without destroying the feel of the park. But, that being said, the supports look nice on the Arrow and Space Station looks cool. The vertical drop coaster looks really big! Maybe make a simpler layout for it instead of such a big one, or even change it to a twister coaster. Overall, a good start, but it just needs some more polished theming. How about Millenium Thrills or Millenium Adventures.
  19. ^Wow, I hope it is something in RCT2, as I don't think that I've ever seen any of your RCT work in any of the games!
  20. To be totally honest, I really like the concept of building totally "wacked-out" rides, but I think it would be nice to see these rides in a block of land with some theming around it. I think that some colour, trees, and buildings would make all the difference to what you are showing here. At the moment it looks a little rushed (not that that is a bad thing, I used to do this sort of stuff all the time), and I feel that maybe if you put just a little more time into one or two of your coaster, like an hour here and there, these would be a)getting a lot more positive feedback and b)looking a lot more exciting than what they look so far. Good luck with these coasters, and don't take my comment the wrong way, it is just a suggestion.
  21. LOL Think the park looks nice, but since you only have a few posts, may I suggest posting the pics on TPR rather than posting links. I think that because you aren't using any cs it will be hard for you to make buildings that aren't blocky, but from a personal opinion I quite like it. Looking forward to seeing more!
  22. ^I was referring to the coaster, but I forgot some of the other pics you showed. OMG, latest pic looks really good although a little bare I'm sure you are not finished building. Logo looks great as well.
  23. LOVE the station But, from the picture it looks a little small, am I missing something? So overall it looks really good, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
