  1. Very interesting marketing, it has to be something big if they are already getting footers ready. Gonna be going later in the season as well, can't wait to see the progression.
  2. The way they spelled it reminds me of when Six Flags CEO Jim Anderson says it! If you wanna know what I mean, watch this video and go to about 12:30
  3. Webcams are back up everyone! Looks like a lot of concrete work has been done. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to see a bit of testing from them.
  4. Maybe that. But, down the road I don't see a coaster for a great time. Maybe another 3-5 year stretch. I think that Cedar Point could use a great new wooden coaster though, whether it is by GCI, RMC, or even an Intamin! I think a good wooden coaster is what is missing in their coaster line-up at this moment in time. But, that is just purely speculation. We'll have to wait and see.
  5. I highly doubt a floorless. And I doubt a flying coaster either. Seems like they got the best of both worlds with a wing coaster.
  6. ^I don't expect it to break down say as much as an Intamin would. But, I'm sure it will still have a few minor setbacks, mostly because of the touchy sensors on the coaster.
  7. Hello, everyone! Sorry for the long delay. I've been busy and just had time to get back to updating this park now. Enjoy! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- During its long vacation away from TPR, Lakeshore Park has grown tremendously! But, in this update, we'll only be showing you the newly added Wicked Frontier area. More on the rest of the park soon! SCR44.bmp Here is the newly added entrance to Wicked Frontier. It is located off of the main street area between Woodland Racer and the Carousel. SCR45.bmp This buildings houses a large food court with many different choices of places to eat! (And I know the sign says Merry-go-round on it, haven't yet had the time to change it) SCR46.bmp This is the large log flume ride right across from the food court. It is called Frontier Falls and features 2 drops ranging from 60 feet to around 30. SCR47.bmp On the adjacent side of Frontier Falls, we have a little boat ride which you are able to steer yourself as Woodland Racer flies by above. SCR48.bmp Across from the boat ride, Timber Mouse quickly navigates its way through the thick woods of the area. SCR49.bmp And, finally, we'll end this update with a picture of a little gift shop at the end of the trail....if you look over to your right, you may see a hint as to what is to come in the next update. Anyone wanna take any guesses at what the coaster is? Or the theme of the area?
  8. Personally, I'm not a fan of the tunnel on the first drop. I think the coaster would look a lot more nice without it, but that's just me! Does anyone know exactly why it is there? Just for effects?
  9. Wow, crazy they already have a POV up! For GateKeeper they are taking forever to get one. But other than that, Gold Striker looks great!
  10. Wow, that looks like one uncomfortable ride. But Wodan looks amazing!
  11. Really cool coaster, love the people hanging off of it! Funny.
  12. What a difference those two are, looks like two completely different coasters. ^And I agree, would be cool if they put the flags back up.
  13. That is one big loop! This ride should pull some serious g's though, that I'm hoping. And the drop, wow, steeper than I expected as well. Still hoping I make it out to Cali to ride this thing!
  14. ^^Ah, my bad, had them backwards. Either way, can't wait to see it at full speed even if it's close to it now
  15. Looks great, really can't wait to ride now! And can't wait to see the soft wheels to go on just to see how much faster this coaster will go.
  16. Looks like a great coaster. I'm waiting for one to be built in the US, wonder who would maybe try to open one here first..
  17. I'm hoping they all reopen by the time Cedar Point opens for the season. I as well enjoy Windseekers; great views and a nice little break from coasters and other thrill rides. I know they had been testing Cedar Point's as well. Before the webcams went down, you could see it going up and down the tower just as people are reporting about the ones at other parks in the chain.
  18. -Top Thrill Dragster's launch -Maverick's launch out of the tunnel -Phantom Revege's plunge into the ravine and under Thunderbolt Just to name a few.
  19. I didn't get to experience Skyrush last year, but now I'm worried they tamed this coaster. I hope not, I want to experience it at its full force. Keep us up to date on if it is true or not, I'm crossing my fingers that it's not.
  20. ^Tony said he is in the process of making a video now so very soon! But GateKeeper is just looking beautiful! Love the shot of it through the giant flat spin.
  21. Mexico seems like it has a great collection of different rides and coaster, most I didn't know about. Can't wait to see the rest of the videos!
  22. On PointBuzz, it was reported that GateKeeper supposedly had a successful first flight this afternoon. No immediate proof yet other than it was from a trusted source.
