  1. Wow, these are popping up everywhere. Can't complain though, I rather have this than a boomerang!
  2. Cool photos! I went to to CP on the fourth last year and enjoyed myself quite a bit. Great roller coasters and fireworks to end your day is always a plus.
  3. I've been to Hershey 2 years ago but I can't remember which day. I know it was fairly dead and a good amount of walk ons. My question is: I'll be having the preview night on Thursday then my full day Friday..are Fridays usually crowded?
  4. Tony posted a new blog article on July 2nd. https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog-article/online-fun/Making-Sure-You-Have-The-Best-Day Important notes from the article: blurred dots all over the giant boxes. He said something about Halloweekends but either way, interesting to note some spots are blurred. And he wrote about the roller coaster timeline on the fence. So he finally acknowledged its existence. Take what you want from it.
  5. Okay, now this is more like it. Hopefully they can stay with this consistency for the rides and coasters!
  6. Really nice TR. I went last year and even then the Diamondback crew was slow and the line was one of if not the longest in the park. They need to fix this. Surprised you liked Firehawk, I just can't get into those coasters. Maybe I'm riding wrong but I feel like I'm just saving myself from flying out and dying....
  7. A 252 foot record breaking DIVE MACHINE isn't enough for one year??? This is aimed directly at you but this whole discussion is eye rolling because even how is a surely unique and awesome dive machine barely enough or not enough for one year. Especially since you have just gotten 1.5 coasters in the last three years. Not just the GP but i'm sure 99% of coaster enthusiasts would be more than satisfied with this. I know this is CP but this is still pretty ridiculous. I have my opinion and so do you. Did I say I didn't want a Dive Machine? Did I say I hated Dive Machines? I've been on Griffon and it was a great ride. What I'm saying is that it doesn't have the factor of "I can't wait to come back to ride this" like say Maverick or I305 does. And I agree, most people and the GP would be satisfied with this. I would be as well, I think you really misread what I wrote. What I was trying to say was that I would love for CP to do something more than a Dive Machine. I am allowed to not completely love an addition the park makes. Just like you have your opinion of being okay with CP to get a Dive Machine, I as well have my opinion. My opinion: I'm okay with Dive Machines I would just prefer Cedar Point get something different. That is all.
  8. While Dive Machines are great coasters, it just wouldn't give me that "WOW" factor. They're fun rides, don't get me wrong but they just don't have that "OMFG" after getting off feeling. An RMC coming to Cedar Point would have that or another Intamin. Of course I'm perfectly okay with a Dive Machine, it'll be a fun ride to have at the park for years to come. But there is always this hidden hope it'll be something more for 2016...
  9. It looks really good so far! Planet Coaster is already a step ahead of RCTW in my books. Can't wait to see more.
  10. Do you guys think the dorms are coming down at all for 2016? Wouldn't they probably already be taking them down if it were for project 2016?
  11. I doubt it has anything to do with 2016. Planning and design is a different department than the people who make the shirts, I doubt they know anything about it in order to drop hints. Unless it was specifically mentioned to do so. CP and other parks seem to do this a lot, just find a random coaster that will look good on the front of a shirt. I wouldn't look too far into this. Interesting though.
  12. Great little park. The B&M really adds to the park well without taking away from it. Like everyone else has been saying, I would just suggest to add in more trees and shrubbery closer together. It still looks a little empty. Other than that, I'm enjoying every update, can't wait till the next one. : )
  13. Again, very promising. I won't be completely on board until I see a trailer or gameplay of some sort, though.
  14. Maybe you got a bad ride on Blue Streak because whenever I ride, it's packed with airtime. And Maverick rough?! Maybe we both have different definitions of rough. Great TR so far, though! Can't wait for CoasterMania this weekend.
  15. Now this is looking a lot more promising than the other crap they posted. They gotta keep this up and I'm definitely going to buy.
  16. For Fast Lane; you just buy your wristband at one of the locations in the park, wear the wristband all day, and you enter the Fast Lane entrance of the rides. And for the person above who asked about the next coaster on the timeline, I think they added Gemini and Corkscrew now.
  17. ^Well, for CoasterMania, get to check in early. There was for the past two years a pretty large line. So, maybe get to CP by like 5am maybe a little later. $125 should be enough for that day. If you count like $60 dollars to get in then you already get a free breakfast (usually donuts and OJ when you enter the park) and a free lunch..well all you need is money for dinner so like a little under $20. Maybe a few snacks during the day. And if I were you, get the $8 drink wristband for the event, worth it. You should be good money wise. Other than that, Millennium always has the longest wait for the ERT morning session and then TTD in the night session. The night session ERT always seems to have a lot shorter lines. I was able to marathon Maverick 5+ times and still get on TTD and Magnum. I feel like most people don't stay for the night ERT when I feel it's the best. I can't think of anymore tips as of right now for the event. Have fun and see you there!
  18. I really don't find any problems with Magnum hurting me. Sure it has crazy airtime and you're plastered to the restraint a little but it's nothing you can't handle. It's the same thing with Skyrush; everyone wants a coaster with crazy airtime but then when it happens, they all complain.
  19. I've only rode Millennium Force and Fury so far. Out of those two, Millennium Force is superior in my book, but it isn't the best I've ever rode. I'm sure I305 would beat it out in a heartbeat. Like others have said, MF is a little overhyped as a coaster. I'm not saying it isn't top 10 material because it is! I love the first drop, the first overbank and the two airtime hills. But other than that, it kinda gets a tad boring. Fury was a great giga for B&M. Once again, not the best giga but B&M is getting better at them. I'm hoping the next B&M Giga gets even better. But my vote goes for MF for now, once I try I305, I'm sure my opinion will be swayed.
