  1. ADMIT EDIT! THIS POST BREAKS TWO OF OUR TOS RULES: Please read our site rules before posting. They are located HERE!
  2. I'm not sure how in the world this would work, but if they wanna try, go ahead! http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2010/05/13/rollercoaster-tycoon-computer-game-will-be-a-movie-why/
  3. To me, it seems like they show pretty much the same coasters over and over. Always showing the ones that have been around a while and never the newer ones.
  4. As far as the Cyclone, didn't get to ride it so i wasn't able to get any pics of it. And the Mine Train is also hard to get pics of since it's sprawled out and has many obstacles blocking it. And also didn't go near Canyon Blaster, so didn't get pics of it. The Freefall is gone, so that would be impossible to get a pic of, lol. It's just the way the park is layed out and with all the trees, so it's kinda hard to get good shots of some of the rides. Also, this Schwarzkopf ride was running and lookng "Wheelie" good this year.
  5. With the advice from other people, I will deffinately have to try that magic seat next time I ride Ninja.
  6. Didn't get to ride any woodies that day. Wanted to, but just didn't get around to them
  7. It's pretty much a butterfly inversion (2 loops back-to-back). It's cool, but VERY rough. Ninja has a bad reputation for being very rough.
  8. Made a small trip to SFOG this past sunday. It was a pretty nice day...... nice weather and not too packed. Roller Coasters were an average 30 min. wait time. I'll say this though, Batman is running SUPER loud! You can hear it all the way over in the Lickskillet section. On to the photos! Goliath's Helix from the front Gate Into the helix! Going up! Goliath from the Skybuckets Lift Hill porn! Here we go! 3rd inversion on Batman Twisted goodness! the drop that starts the fun! more lift hill porn! coming at ya! Best pic I could get of Mindbender! Sadly, Acrophobia was living up to it's name that day (wasn't running) Tower porn! Ready for an ass kicking? Ninja will deffinately give you one! Brake run porn! So close! "We just got our asses kicked" Ninja lurking through the trees! Superman was fly (no pun intended) Pretzel anyone? "Yes, I agree..... Ninja will give you headaches!" Track porn!
  9. Well, 10 till 10 and so far, they've done Stone Mt. Park and Silver Dollar City. And gee.... a person who works at a theme park who's addicted to RCT.... imagine that!
  10. OK, in that spot there's already like a shallow kiddie pool. Looks like they're just gonna add a theme to it
  11. Sounds like a helluva thrill experience....... but I dunno if I wanna pay $100 for it
  12. even thought i've never ridden it
  13. Also, it's been stated in some European fair TRs, that some of the rides don't even have guard rails. Ride patrons just stand freely behind a line and the ride will unload and reload with new people while it is still slowly running, and no problems arrise. If our rides over here didn't have guardrails, people would be rushing the ride and shoving people out of the way. Also, we have idiots that would be stupid enough to try to jump on a ride while it is in full motion.
  14. The one that was in SFOG had a crotch crusher...... when they'd lower the lap restraint, it would put a lot of pressure there and release just a little
  15. I say Space Mountain's jumbled mess of supports
  16. That place looks very fun. I love those driving games using actual cars
  17. I don't think anyone has mentioned the "Warehouse" portion of B:TR's queue @ SFOG. On a busy day when that queue is filled up..... good lord! ..... That's a hell of a line AND wait time!
  18. I was at SF White Water that is outside of Atlanta last summer, and some of the guys that pushes your raft at the top of the chutes would splash water on the rafts leaving or fling water onto the people waiting in line (if you were waiting on stairs). one would look at the line, yell out "What are you looking at?" and fling water on them. Made for an interesting wait in line
  19. It is, and I am glad parks are installing more and more deadman-switches on their coasters to prevent these things. All operators have to hold down a button untill the train has cleared the station, release the button and the train simply stops. I think it should be mandatory on ANY ride control panel that you cannot start the ride or dispatch a train unless sensors detect all safety restraints are latched. If one is left unlocked, a button should be lit up red to let you know something is not right. Pretty much, it can't run unless an "All Clear" button is lit!
  20. Posted this in another thread, but it seems more fitting for this one..... One time I was at SFOG back when Viper was there. In the evening, the crowds were light and I was able to ride Viper many times back-to-back. Well, on one ride after one of the ride-ops got through checking the train, she hopped in the seat next to me and the train just took off and she didn't even have the lap bar down. I'm like what an idiot. She could've gotten fired if she had been caught. MAJOR safety violation!
  21. Well, I'm gonna be with some family there that day, so no can do on the meeting up. Thanks for the offer though. I guess the only thing to do is just show up and see what the day will offer.
  22. I'll be going to SFoG friday. I know I live like 30 min from the park and all, but I haven't been able to go in several years. I just wanna ask how the crowds are still on fridays so I can be prepared. And yes, i'm taking my camera to do a PTR
  23. I'd say Ninja @ SFoG....... granted it's really rough, and if you're a short person, you'll really hate it due to banging your head on the OTS restraints . It used to happen to me, but once I got older, my head rose above the restraints. Rough as hell, but awesome due to the intensity!
  24. The "Mansion Makeover" looks pretty awesome. I love that face in the fog as you go into the marsh. But, as another poster said, I too will miss the dilapidated look the ride had. Made it look more historic, along with the name "Plantation". It had a more Southern feel too it. I deffinately wanna try and make it there this year. I haven't been there since just after the removal of The Great Gasp! (sad, ain't it??). And I don't live but like 30 min at the most from it! Reason being is just haven't really had the money to go. I had a car note, and paying on that plus other bills made it kinda hard to go. But it's all paid off and hopefully, I should be able to go this summer
  25. when you went in to the haunted marsh, you went up a small belt lift and into a slight, smooth drop
