  1. looks like a lot of what they did was redress a lot of the monsters is the huge dude that points and goes "HUMANS!..... HUMANS!" still there along with the big dragon that appears on ur right as you go around a turn?
  2. Final Destination 3 (Playland Amusement Park) 3 Ninjas: High Noon At Mega Mountain (Six Flags Elitch Gardens) D2 & D3 The Mighty Ducks (Knotts Camp Snoopy) Smokey & The Bandit II (the destruction of the "Greyhound" roller coaster) Full House (episode(s) filmed at Disney World) Boy Meets World (episode filmed at Epcot)
  3. Superman: The Escape no doubt Batman: The Ride has a pretty great roar to it (which I love the roars on B&M Inverts)
  4. I doin't have any weird things people have said, but I do have one where something stupid was done. one time I was at SFOG back when Viper was there. in the evening, the crowds were light and I was able to ride Viper many times back-to-back. well, on one ride after one of the ride-ops got through checking the train, she hopped in the seat next to me and the train just took off and she didn't even have the lap bar down. I'm like what an idiot. she could've gotten fired if she had been caught. MAJOR safety violation! the GP aren't the only stupid ppl in the parks!
  5. SFoG is a pretty good park when everything is running. I do say they could add another coaster or 2 and a few more flat rides (I.E. Huss Giant Frisbee, Mondial Inferno, Tivoli Re-Mix, KMG XXL, Kamikaze, Fabbri Evolution) also, to really enjoy the park, you have to be there on the right days. some days you just really get all the riff-raff, some others you get super extreme crowds, and the rest of the days where the crowds are light are the best days to go. that's when you get to ride pretty much whatever is running and just really enjoy the scenerey and not have to worry about fighting lines and people. and yes, what is up with Ninja's lake being drained?
  6. beautiful pics! in some shots, Millenium Force really dwarfs the other coasters. how long was the flight and was it specifically to take pics?
  7. I've had "fried coke" basically, it's funnel cake minus the powdered sugar, soaked in coke / pepsi with whipped cream on top served in a cup. it is different, I tell ya that
  8. and also remember when you do go, DON'T jump Batman's fence!
  9. since they decided to delay the opening, and from what the local news said, they haven't given a rescheduled date yet.
  10. -Basketballs -screaming people that scream at innapropriate times -navigating practically the whole length of the queue of rides that have very long queus (ie @ SFOG: Batman The Ride, Superman - Ultimate Flight) that have basically walk-on waits (come on people, throw in a short-cut to the station!) -people stopping in front of you for no reason -people that hang out at the park and don't ride anything -expesnsive food / drinks -concession stands next to a ride that have a serving window for the ride's queue (and people stop to order something and try to rejoin their group that has moved on to the other end of the row) (ie. Georgia Cyclone) -idiots that rock the boats on those calm water rides (Monster Plantation) -the extremely long line for the front seat on coasters that's backed up to when you enter the station -waiting in line for a long time and then the ride closes just before you get to ride due to a little sprinkle
  11. I've always wanted a good clip of SFOG's Monster Plantation song. even though it's the same thing played over and over, it still rocks!
  12. Three malfunctions in less than a year....it seems the wheel is more troublesome than it's worth. Kinda like Deja Vu was.
  13. I saw on a website that lists stats on the rides that travel everywhere in different countries (i.e. number of trailers, passengers per load, etc...). And on the page for Mondial's Inferno (more popularly known as Airwolf), that they state that the ride is not US road legal for interstate travel without special permits. what is the case on that? is it because the ride is so huge or what? http://www.flatrides.com/Ride%20Index%20Pages/inferno.html
  14. everytime I visited SFOG, I always made The Plantation a MUST visit. I love that ride. it's very good for taking a break and cooling off in the hot GA sun. and like other people said, they should keep "Plantation" instead of changing it to Mansion. it fit's better with the GA history
  15. what's up everyone? been a long time reader but just now joined the forums. I'm Brandon and I live just south of Atlanta, GA. my home park, is of course, SFOG! so far in my life, i've visited the following parks: SFOG SFMM Galaxyland in the West Edmonton Mall Camp Snoopy (When it was known then) Disney World Disneyland Epcot Busch Gardens Africa Universal Studios Hollywood Opryland
