Very nice photo TR! I debated checking out FMP while I was in Myrtle in July but my vacation down there was shorter this year due to lack of money. I was able to get to HRP last year so it's cool.

This is a pretty funny story. People these days are so crazy.

When I go, I usually drive 15-20 minutes away from the park [not on the highway] and look around for hotel. I just use my gps and select hotel thats 15-20 min. away. It's usually easy to find an affordable hotel room around there since it's out in the boonies. You just have to be careful because there is a military air force base about 20 mins. away from the park and sometimes on weekends there will be huge military conventions at that base and its almost impossible to find a hotel.

2 weeks until August 20th! Woo! It's been awhile since someone has posted a full picture update on construction/track sitting in the parking lot. Anyone going to post a new update anytime soon?

I may be going to gadv. this weekend. From what i've heard, kingda ka still has yet to open full time since May when it got struck by lighting. Looks like my ride count for the season for ka will still be at 0 if I do go. =[

It has taken a while haha. And considering there is like no themeing compared to the other rides They have been working on it since before HHN in Oct.

August 20th is only 3 weeks away. You would think they would start releasing some type of teasers since the date is semi close.

I can not believe how long it has taken them to build this ride.

Man, I don't even know whats going on in this post anymore. I'm so confused because every single person has something different/opinion to say about the new coaster. Haha

I rode this ride on Monday and it is awesome! It was my first time visiting SFNE. The theming and the effects definitely add a "kick" to the ride. One of the trains music was not running. I got a ride on both trains and the "music" (more like sound effects) are pretty awesome as they go along with all of the theming. For example a loud explosion sound plays when you pass by the fire. It's a great ride.

Congrats and good luck. I'm glad some states choose to give everyone equal rights.

Some day i'll be able to go on a TPR trip. I can't wait for that day to happen it just seems like the whole trip is nothing but fun.

That looks real nice. Magnum can be a pretty painful ride for tall people like me (I'm 6'3). When I rode Magnum a few years back, when I got off the ride I felt like I had bruised thighs due to the lap bar being so tight on my thighs throughout the ride.

Can you say court caseeee?
