The Mega Dead Celebrity Thread
Crazy4Coasters! replied to frozenflames's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ I think his death is probably the biggest in regards of to any celebrity alive right now. I really have no clue what that man's life was so I can't judge him, but it's sad to see that even with all the money he had it couldn't erase all the scrutiny surrounding his life. -

TPR's Scandinavia 2009 Trip!
Crazy4Coasters! replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^ Isn't Idaho the potato capital of the world??? Any who... Great TR's as always. I copy the sentiments of being able to enjoy sights and sounds from different parts of planet Earth with all the zaniness TPR does. I might not be able to afford one of these awesome trips anytime soon (maybe buying a house, and marriage) but I hope to meet up with you cool cats again when the West Coast trip comes rolling into town. -
It was sweet when I saw my boss do the show a few weeks back, but for some strange reason I'm relishing this one more...

^ Then I commend the person who wrote that because they covered their bases just in case T- Express ever regains that title again... at least for TPR. LOL! -

TPR's Termination Day! Sunday, June 28th, 2009
Crazy4Coasters! replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^ I really hope that was an attempt for a joke... if not then READ again what Robb bearly posted on the previous page! I don't sorry. Unless there were multiple coasters open, I don't think the park security would want us wandering off from where we should be. (I wouldn't pesonally allow this to be honest.) Once you start to wonder off to a place where you shouldn't be, you become a liability to both the park and TPR. I don't want to be responsible for anyone getting in any sort of trouble and it reflecting poorly on TPR and the park never wants to do events with us again. So I would ask that if you go to Termination Day, please stay at Terminator until the park opens. Once the clock hits 10:30am if you want to book it over to whatever ride you want to, be my guest, but if you're wandering off before 10:30am, that may create some problems. --Robb -
Roughest coaster
Crazy4Coasters! replied to jbuck's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Just remember that X2 isn't your normal "muti-looper" so going through inversions are different that a regular caoster. I just find it funny that I have given myself the same amount of slack on other seats and never had this problem. Trust me it isn't like I make it a point to have huge space on the restraints, it's just enough to still feel comfortable and secure while riding. So we'll see next time I get a chance to ride it and hopefully I'll enjoy it a tad more. -
Roughest coaster
Crazy4Coasters! replied to jbuck's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You know X was never a problem for me until yesterday. I rode front row, outer seat and I think I did a little boo boo because I didn't tighten the restraints too far down. I usually give myself a little bit of space so I can float a little during the ride but just a little mind you. Well let's just say I'm lucky I didn't bruise a rib or give my noggin a little bump from all the bouncing around I did on the ride. I still enjoy the ride because this seriously has been the first time I got beat up on. I will try riding front row next time but with the restraints as tight (and comfortable) as possible and hopefully I'll let you guys know if it helped! -

The 2015-16 NBA Season
Crazy4Coasters! replied to Bolliger&Mabillard's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ And one more quick fact, there were 2 teams the Lakers did not win their season series with, the Magic and the others... the Bobcats. LOL! I'm not goning to sweat it though as long as the Lakers understand that anymore of these erratic games are no longer acceptable... and never were!!! -

So very true... If (actually when;) ) we play the Magic in the finals I really think the series will go 6 or 7 games. I know that the Magic won the season series versus the Lakers and I know how good they can play against us. One BIG fear of mine is that the Lakers might get lured into a 3-point contest versus the Magic in games and loose focus on playing sound basketball... I really hope that doesn't happen! -
