Crazy4Coasters!

I updated the thread title just because there isn't any real solid ride projects coming up for the moment... Well at least that I know of.

^ Here's what Robb said about "room" for any future coaster at Knott's... The park has plenty of room for another BIG attraction or two if they wanted to add one. Just look at parks like Grona Lund or Blackpool if you need an example of places that have no room but yet still seem to add big attractions. We all had this exact same discussion prior to Silver Bullet's being added. They made the room for a giant B&M invert, I'm sure they can find the room for something else. --Robb I don't think Knott's has to sacrifice any of their rides for any new attractions that might come. They got the room, they'll make it work when the time comes...

Kids just never learn... LOL!!!

^ So much so that Knott's ingeniously designed Xcelerator's tophat to be a 205ft frown for all of Orange County to see.

We can only take so much complaining from so many people that we finally just say "fudge it! Let's not invite anyone who isn't part of the official tour! It's just too much of a headache!" --Robb I really hope that bad apple (who complained about 15 mins of ERT, which honestly is the most ridiculous comment anyone could make on a PERK!) isn't the straw that breaks the camel's back! I'm kinda looking forward to any available meet ups you guys might have for people not officially attending the West Coast trip. By the way just in case you don't hear this comment enough... !!!THANK YOU!!! Robb and Elissa for all the time, work and effort you guys put in TPR!!!

Thanks for reminding me about that point. I remember when they took out the Playhouse there were a lot of rumors and speculation about a new attraction being put into that space but time kinda wore down the hype...

^ I'm trying that actually on Friday. I bought a 1 day park hopper ticket from Ebay for $50. I've heard people have been pretty reliable using that method so I hope all goes well that day.

^ Thanks for the info buddy, I'm actually going to Disneyland this Friday for my girlfriend's birthday so it should be a blast... And I gotta agree, if you haven't been to Disneyland and you're planning a coaster trip later on then by all means head out to Disneyland!

Ditto on everything except I did visit the Coke place... Great TR dude, I have to emphasize again what "The Bebes" said that Desperado is really "Aggressive." That ride is the second roughest coaster I've been on the west coast. The first drop beats Goliath in my opinion. It really feels like your stomach comes up right out of your mouth and then gets sucked back in when you reach the bottom of the drop... Aren't coasters GRAND!!!

^ I don't know, you tell me! But seriously I'm not sure if the crowds have cut down a bit during weekdays. If you're planning to stay the whole day and have patience for lines then maybe you don't need a flash pass... It's up to you kiddo, enjoy your day!

The Hi-Miler was a real fun ride. Me and my girlfriend rode in the back seat today and enjoyed a very nice dose of ejector time on the hills... Good stuff!

I'll probably be there on Friday but I don't remember seeing any info about any coasters at the fair. I hope to be pleasantly surprised though...

^ Actually your first point was mentioned this year at WCB so at least your "random speculation" is 33.333333% right...

I woke up at 11am today so I guess I missed the live telecast of it. They are showing a marathon on past competitions so I guess I'll be able to watch the second viewing on it. But thanks for the heads up.

Here on the west coast I have to wait until 4pm to see the contest on Direct TV. I'll be on the look out for you Big Mike, hope you had a blast buddy!

^Hmmmmm I don't ever remember Batman's brakes near the end being rough. I've always felt it pretty smooth from start to finish even though it's layout is quite compact. Hopefully next time you ride it will treat you kindly in the end.
